Too it’s almost, no trip to Maramureș would seemingly be complete without seeing its iconic wooden churches, and that is the Iza Valley. Actually, is where you’ll find many of them. Basically, these churches, are pretty UNESCO World Heritage sites. Yeah really, display mind-blowing architecture, typically with tall, slim towers plus beautifully detailed interiors.

Arguably, visit the churches at Bogdan Vodă, Rozavlea, plus Ieud. First, they are particularly noteworthy. Now, that said, for something more active, might be, think about hiking Creasta Cocoșului, seemingly part of the Gutâi Mountains. Well, at the end of the day, the name translates to “Rooster’s Comb”.
