Western Australia, or WA as some people like to say, is very much like a massive playground for, very outdoor enthusiasts. That big state has some unbelievable scenery, chances to, you know, see animals up close and personal, and experiences that you just cannot find anywhere else, almost. 1. Hiking the Cape to Cape Track
If your idea of time well spent, maybe just tends to be putting one foot in front of the other, and taking in, very beautiful sights, then so the Cape to Cape Track has to be just right up there on your list, honestly. This thing stretches a crazy 135 kilometers along the south-western edge of WA. Think like dramatic cliffs, seemingly endless beach walks, and then forests just bursting with life. People talk about needing days, typically around 6 to 8, very, very to complete the whole shebang. I mean but there’s absolutely no stress to, you know, tackle the whole thing. Break it up, actually. There are heaps of spots where you can easily just hop on and off. So, a little tip. Maybe try getting up, super early one morning and make your way to Boranup Forest. Walking amongst those big, really tall karri trees when the sun is coming up is, well pretty awesome, as a matter of fact. It changes how you see forests forever. It just, you know, kinda makes the walking parts feel so, worth the effort.

2. Ningaloo Reef Snorkeling and Diving
Then when we switch gears, a little to WA’s underwater scene, the Ningaloo Reef has a lot to offer. Imagine jumping into some of the clearest water, seeing corals as far as the eye can stretch and there are just, you know, sea critters all around you. The cool thing, anyway, about Ningaloo is, you don’t have to swim super far from the beach to get to see all of that action, actually. A lot of folks show up from March to August to just catch some quality time with the whale sharks. Just picture calmly swimming next to the biggest fish there is. Anyway it sounds sort of surreal, because I assure you, it is actually pretty real. You will find operators that really make it their job to, I mean, safely set up those types of encounters. And if you show up at any other part of the year, I am talking about so much turtle nesting time, humpback migration views and heaps more to see. The whole reef comes with those never a dull time vibe attached. But, please stay updated to current news about cyclones. Even small cyclone can destroy such beauties under a night.

3. Exploring Karijini National Park
Ready for your eyes to feast, like your’s on ancient, unbelievable landscapes. Just make sure, that too it’s almost done, so the Karijini National Park must be the spot, anyway. This place shows off deep canyons, and the pools in those gorges really sparkle, which makes you just kind of wanna go dive straight in. You want adventure, you say, Karijini can absolutely provide. You could climb down to, nearly those very secluded waterfalls, or perhaps check out some cool, you know, trails around Dales Gorge, and just snap those Insta pics, actually. Keep in mind too that sometimes, there may well be sections off because rain went and flooded parts, which means some gorge locations, often get temporarily shut to folks because safety measures and stuffs, honestly. Look ahead before packing all of those bags so there would be nothing left to chance there.

4. Discovering the Pinnacles Desert
Just a bit north of Perth, that is where your camera will find the Pinnacles Desert. Imagine like, this desert has thousands, many of some kind of rock pillars that just happen to poke out from the ground. Walking around here actually feels like being on some other kind of world completely. Seriously try swinging by at sunset. When the sun starts dipping towards, or a little over that big horizon, all shadows turn seriously long and the colors just change into something special that a picture could maybe not actually deliver or justify and the light, very much changes making those rock formations really stand out. Just saying, it kind of looks very epic! It might seem simple but just try it for yourself before that judgement day comes on its way.

5. Rottnest Island Exploration
Looking to wind things down, too it’s almost great that you can get something quite chill, then just hop over to Rottnest Island from Perth. “Rotto”, as those locals kinda affectionately call it, has some of the, just really gorgeous beaches you have maybe ever come across, and little bays for swimming, cycling tracks for zooming along all over or a little look that will most certainly spot the cute Quokka, which, often can happen to be always camera ready, anyway! Grabbing that rental bike happens to be definitely just the way you do it, actually. Peddle to all those, little isolated bays you hear about, take an early dip, perhaps or just relax somewhere remote and make the most of that time to yourself with zero disruptions that would make most folks very appreciative there! I mean, and really if there’s that animal everyone just must see. Just, make sure it goes towards those very cute quokkas!
