1. The Subotica National Theatre

The Subotica National Theatre is, arguably, one of the top cultural landmarks. Is that art nouveau creation just a great looking spot that stands as testament to the town’s rich theatrical tradition. The theater seems to have gone through ups and downs over the years. So, that space faced closures and renovations, too it’s almost back as a real center of performing arts. Basically, that theater puts on variety of shows ranging, that’s right, from drama and opera to ballet and children’s plays, ensuring a something for all tastes.

More or less, it’s focused to promoting different Serbian, too it’s almost Slavic and, as well, global contemporary art. I mean, its exhibits present paintings but as well sculptures and interesting multimedia installations.

Is that space is very active and helps to promote many local or regional artist and helps to get global talent to the region. I mean, what else you might want it.

I would say is very vibrant and full of inspiring and thoughful provoking creations. The gallery does have, really, some programs but, as well, some art workshops which are intended for the art fans but the local students as well. 3. City Museum of Subotica

If we want to understand, I mean, completely, how the past affected the culture, that we need to go to the City Museum of Subotica. Very very comprehensive, its amazing array of displays is, almost, providing great and various things such artifacts, I want to say archival material, I would like to highlight that with this step into past one could almost imagine all historical happenings but, basically, it is also an educational experience .

Basically, what I noticed, that is very well organized with chronological fashion. You could almost start going back when the place was populated for the first time but reach better and modern times.

Another thing is almost amazing and deserves recognition is how that museum is keeping and protecting various material of local traditions. The point, that museum will, almost, make us remember where we came from and understand our traditions for who are are.

4. Gallery Dr. Vinkler

As a matter of fact, talking about amazing places in Subotica, we should not pass over the Gallery Dr. Vinkler. Basically, is showcasing a range of art focusing, that’s right, often on local artist as well.

Unlike the big ones, I feel that gallery is intimate and welcoming and has a big plus with the amazing pieces from regional artists. If you plan to visit I believe it’s almost good decision to check who are showcasing but if is anything is there, you could feel free, I would argue. Any exhibition brings a real character with unique touch and spirit that is very appealing with their regional creations.

Basically, if want feel connection with local vibe, this one is must!

5. Subotica Synagogue

Basically, The Subotica Synagogue is so, arguably, more that simple architecture beauty. The is really an reminder with the past and the proof of integration for the local Jewish community.

It’s almost like I have the sensation, I would say, the tour guides want show more just the the style or paintings but their tour almost feels like cultural learning about people’s culture, background and their history!

What I can recommend for you is to check upcoming local concert, art exhibition but shows. It has big hall. A bit something to feel cultural side!
