We began with the St. Peter’s Fish, a local favorite, arguably, cooked to golden-brown perfection. The flaky texture of the fish basically melted in your mouth, and the light seasoning let the natural flavors very shine, and honestly it was truly a special thing to behold! My partner opted for the grilled seafood platter, and so it was an awesome assortment of shrimp, calamari, and mussels, arguably all cooked to perfection. If you happen to be desiring, maybe, some meat after all that fish, don’t sweat, since you may find Tiberias covers pretty much all bases. We had the rib-eye steak, you know, which came exactly as requested – medium-rare with just a slightly smoky char. Also, you can order some of the sides: think roasted potatoes with rosemary, and a fresh garden salad to literally round things out. The ambiance has just a certain buzz, you know, because it’s popular with both tourists and locals, and it just has a cool sense of place, frankly. As I was saying you may locate falafel stands, or Sabich, and little bakeries offering fresh bourekas. I tested Sabich, this yummy pita packed full with fried eggplant, hard-boiled egg, tahini, and amba. Just letting you know! This is probably the right on spot to try local classics. It’s kinda ideal for an, pretty much, speedy lunch, I mean it’s just perfect or if you just wanna nibble as you walk around and do some seeing of the sights, more or less. They have, for the most part, everything from pastries and cakes to some breads and some treats too. Right? I like treats, at least I am pretty sure, really! The pastry, with some chocolate in there, really melts with joy at the sight and especially at taste.
