Le Bouillon Montpellier
If, in fact, you are someone looking for an absolutely filling meal that is just packed with flavor, Le Bouillon, well it is certainly the place to go. Serving up very traditional French cuisine, but that cuisine has a very accessible twist. In truth it is great for someone who is perhaps just checking out what the world of french food has on offer, in other words you get all the flavour without having to dress up or spend up to your eyeballs!
Le Bouillon’s menu changes up with what’s in season, right so you know you’re getting the freshest possible ingredients every single time. Think very rustic dishes that, honestly, just make you feel warm inside, so they use things like hearty stews and delicious pâtés. You almost feel like you’ve been adopted into a lovely French family. Oh and you absolutely shouldn’t overlook their house wine; basically it ties everything together. La Réserve Rimbaud
Oh, ok, you see La Réserve Rimbaud, it’s just on another level. Very truthfully, we are looking at somewhere that gives a dining experience that isn’t easily forgotten. Really you get cuisine which can at a single point feel both timeless and totally new, it very much balances tradition with a wink to what’s contemporary, isn’t that great!
With just a fabulous view overlooking the Le Lez river, just sitting outside is magical in the summer. Honestly, the space is stylish while very informal, right, so you can let your hair down. Each plate they send out really tells its own story with super thoughtful ingredients and presentation that almost seems wrong to eat!

Marché du Lez
Now, If you really wish to get an authentic experience, right so not some put on for tourist nonsense, honestly visit the Marché du Lez; that’s it. Truly this buzzing marketplace does more than offer food and drink; oh very much, it’s about getting right into the local culture! Also, the architecture is amazing, but not in that “cold museum” kinda way. The place, well, you know, it lives!
Honestly at the Marché du Lez there’s a heap of food stalls offering everything from cheese, that’s pungent enough to stop traffic, to little boutique brewers making magic in kegs! Honestly it’s amazing just taking your time sampling treats and soaking up all the noise and smells around you. Then, that way you know, you know?
This spot’s truly killer for anyone wanting to just hang with locals while picking at some grub and beverages. With its super friendly feel, just very easy to, actually, lose a couple of hours there. Le Bar à Huitres
Oh but If, frankly, you’re something of an oyster nut, I would mention the seafood haven that is Le Bar à Huîtres. Right so This cool spot focuses, very closely on incredibly fresh shellfish. Of course, they also, too, have got killer views!
So right there, in house, a shucker can very deftly crack open an oyster, you know it’s from a specific part of France. Actually, each oyster offers a very totally distinct flavor. Basically that can lead you down a really delightful path through the best parts of French oyster farming.

Rockstore
To contrast what has been served so far, If you have any need for an energetic kind of night, right, it would almost be absurd not to take yourself to Rockstore. This isn’t about wine; oh dear no! Very truly, Rockstore, once actually a church, rocks like no tomorrow.
Here there’s always very popular music being performed almost every night from either DJs playing music from today or fantastic tributes and original bands, that give the space a certain vibe. It’s kind of awesome, basically when you realize you are moshing about in a former cathedral!
