So, you’re thinking of seeing Niksic, right? Pretty good shout, I reckon! Getting around by car is, in some respects, the way to go in this part of Montenegro, that being, there’s just so much awesome scenery kinda scattered all around. Very much more enjoyable than, I don’t know, being stuck on a coach, right? I mean, you can kinda go at your own clip, discover hidden gems, that is, the places tour buses simply can’t get to. You, just a little, might be wondering what the cream of the crop are, tour-wise? Very well, here’s a gander at, I mean, a peek at the five pretty popular Niksic car tours, all with slightly helpful insights to guide your picking. That, actually, sounds like a bit of me.
1. Circle around Lake Krupac
So, this tour, okay, focuses very much on Lake Krupac, this almost, nearly super tranquil body of water kinda nearby Niksic. You’ll want to allow roughly half a day for this one, that being said, it gives you some pretty reasonable time for stops. First things first, make sure your sat nav’s got the goods, you know? The route, honestly, will kinda lead you down some, well, it’s almost smaller roads that hug the lake, the roads themselves can be, sort of, tight in spots, alright, but, actually, this is how you scope the place. This isn’t, really, about blasting around at a million miles an hour. Find a spot to park up, you know, you kind of see plenty of them that are perfect for pitching a picnic. It is that very chilled, that it, I mean, alright? I actually think this, right, offers maybe some very striking photograph opportunities, you sort of get the mountains reflecting in the still waters, especially alright in the morning. If you do actually enjoy a walk, I sort of get the feeling, that’s just a bit, well, pretty amazing. In a way, very nice path right goes along the edge. What you may be able to actually do is stop off in a local place to have some dinner. It’s rather lovely.
This sort of option might well be spot on if, for instance, you are pretty much searching for some peace outside the center. More or less easy to drive and, frankly, doesn’t really demand that you are rather active. So you do, maybe, wish to actually spend an hour, alright, on that lake or not, its up to you, actually.
2. Ostrog Monastery Circuit
Alright, so this one. A bit special, honestly. Now, this tour tends to be alright, for those who are eager to soak up that bit there of culture with some, right, mind blowing backdrops mixed in. Ostrog Monastery, you just a little know it, yes? More or less burrowed, like, in a rock face, kind of rather is a sight, actually. It does kinda require some slightly care filled driving, not kidding, the roads kinda wind and are rather steep. Basically take it at your clip and take, really, just a little bit of time at each stop, that. It can potentially kinda get chocker block especially during peak tourist season, so getting going rather early tends to be kinda sound. As a matter of fact it goes up winding roads with views across, that can potentially just distract drivers. Very, very just careful, now, alright?
While there, you, right, kind of will want to sort of have a fair look around the upper and the lower church. So, it is really pretty breathtaking up there I reckon, so, do take, in that case, the camera. If you find driving rather stressful in this country then I might very well say maybe pass on this trip. Actually. Rather very well worth it though, just so, if that drive don’t scare you.
3. Exploring the Durmitor National Park (Day Trip)
Alright, if you love that bit there of open air alright then I reckon you kind of may like this so! So this national park actually sits quite so well near Niksic with these really very tall peaks in fact this just rather does take you up so very very scenic routes. Now pack your boots, right? Plenty walks there too!
Actually get going as early, if I am really being honest, can very potentially take up more than a little bit of the day I tell you. You may, okay, wanna try heading directly to the Durmitor National Park kinda via the M-6 highway that you just very well know, you see. It is rather the kind of most swift, if I really had to suggest the option so there is! But honestly maybe don’t blast through, alright? Because really do make time in your car you see, stop and check so the gorgeous, okay, scenery all, well, kind of everywhere.
Black Lake tends to be you just a little see there a hot ticket destination that alright, if the weather feels nice enough. Basically this really is that bit there where can you, you might, fancy a saunter, if alright on, in that case. The Tara River Canyon, just a little something okay, tends to be pretty much there too kinda. Sort of worth very nearly having a peek and, I reckon, very nice views for photographs on, so!

4. The Roads around Piva Lake
Right. So, Piva Lake; arguably something or other there alright in the running just as being that just rather prettiest lake alright right across this very region, you might actually come by, can actually go so around on your driving tour! Alright? Actually so take a moment alright, while checking that region, kinda, you find what stuff that there the gorgeous so pretty small roads has sort of going just a bit around that thing there for kind of seeing, do ya know? The landscape kinda tends to go fairly steep. Kinda alright so!
Make alright kinda of time really actually sort of very pretty near so see this pretty damn Piva Hydro Plant so near because kind of a feat just is. So you tend to see how this so thing here just kinda goes and alright just for producing that electric what ya might say ya see, kinda neat right. Now if, just really a little alright so a longer bit kind kinda for, ok? Well then this really really could alright so make. So, alright, to Skadar Lake, actually.
