You see, Gizgiz has roots way deep in local culture; apparently, it’s that kinda thing cooked up specially for the most loved guests or to really celebrate something. Arguably, when prepared by some loving local hands, expect an absolute explosion of flavors, like flaky pastry doing a dance with very savory fillings. Actually, finding that very perfect Gizgiz, you know, is quite easy. Right, talking about Azerbaijani food without actually bringing up kebab is pretty unthinkable, yet Lahic, right, kicks it up a notch with what you might call their spin. Could be that, because the sheep here munch on that pure mountain stuff, their kebab really delivers flavor, very much unlike anywhere else, and actually it really is some kinda melt-in-your-mouth experience. I mean, it’s seasoned very simply — you know, that’s just salt, pepper, maybe like a hint of local herbs – and kebab in Lahic really lets what’s great about that main ingredient truly shine. Seemingly, there are a ton of cozy little kebab spots scattered here and there all over Lahic. I mean, Azerbaijanis will, arguably, vouch that this soup might be consumed cold during summer and consumed hot during winter. That, very I guess, makes it fit for everything! That thing locals typically have along with their big meals as such or quite often just as its thing all on its lonesome, I guess Dovga gives you that great feeling, maybe like eating sunshine but kinda healthier. I mean, some spots actually jazz theirs up, kind of adding chickpeas or even small meatballs – if this takes your interest, just kinda ask.

Like, you would have that experience everywhere though that many little cafes and places for dining, generally. Like they definitely bring hot cups, like maybe served into that typical pear-shaped glass called “armudu.” And so what does that give? Well it invites you to kind of hang there a little. Well the local honey might not just feel amazing when inside the mouth yet seemingly even do things very good to anyone who has a sore throat as such because who’s to state it can’t really do those kinds of medical treatment anyway? So the idea would be to purchase some jars to take that honey with yourself due to it’ll almost enable you to keep inside Lahic far when anyone isn’t really within its land.
