I would wager that, you are searching for a place with atmosphere, you are, right? Then that’s Cherhana, in Tulcea, just has to be it. In some respects, more or less. Very much like, it’s set in a building with that properly rustic charm. A little different to the hustle you can find sometimes. That, you know, Cherhana is, by the way, a word that means a place where fishermen would keep their catch, and they usually would, in nets. I mean, it’s like stepping back in that bit of proper history, if you, maybe, care about stuff like that. This isn’t so much, nearly, a restaurant; actually, this is an experience.

Alright, as for the food, actually, you are wanting that, isn’t it? Get their fish plachie, with some herbs, and get that stew. So, cooked to perfection. Alright, maybe you want something with just that touch of posh? La Scoica Land is great. La Scoica Land provides views of the lake. Maybe your ideal restaurant is like your fancy experience, with that proper Instagram potential. In a way, the location is stunning, too it’s almost picture-postcard level, with all this outdoor seating right next to the gorgeous lake. That is not very run-of-the-mill, and something that is almost beautiful.

The menu might be broad. However, its strongest suit remains fresh fish. You can also just simply go with their seafood platter. This gets, you know, a decent sample of lots of things. Now that you can get away from all the very typical and local grub spots. As a matter of fact, that actually goes fancy, that is called Delta Royal. A slightly different menu compared to other things on this little list. As I was saying, this restaurant aims to just slightly upscale that Delta food. Very much using fresh and locally sourced bits.

They like that creative twist. You’ve sampled things. It is cooked quite lovely too. Do they put love in there? A little hard to explain! Should you wish to splash out? Just book a meal there! What would you sample? How about that super slow-cooked duck? They also are having that excellent wine selection. I think it makes a, quite lovely addition. 5. Crama Rasarit: Wine and Local Delights

Alright, that isn’t about food. It has to get a mention, which is Crama Rasarit, especially now you love local booze. It is also like Tulcea’s wine scene gem, or something! Crama literally translates into that sort of winery. So there is lots of space available. Here they like making lots of brilliant stuff from all that local produce. Now, in what the owners call their tasting room. Very good!

Very lovely spot! Sample just local goodness! By the way, you could arrange some vineyard tours, that can be, really interesting to you and people you might hang with. Should they sell meals at Crama Rasarit? Yeah! However they often just present smaller plates with the brilliant wines that are often on show. A cool way just to get to sample something, alright?
