The museum does have a bunch of very well-done exhibits on Peterborough’s story! It actually dives rather deeply into its native origins, settlements from Europe and eventual industrial development. You are able to just wander and look at things at your own speed, that is rather nice!

3. Hutchison House Museum
Now, just a bit, this neat place is the Hutchison House Museum, a more quaint alternative. Did you want to see what living was really like back in the day? This historic house is, seemingly, fully restored to appear how it would have, possibly, back in the 1800s. Very well-done!

4. Market Hall Performing Arts Centre
OK! In contrast with museums, there is The Market Hall Performing Arts Centre. Very awesome option if you were really wanting more action-based type experiences. This pretty long-standing venue is just constantly packed shows, anything going from various kinds of plays to live concerts with a really, very decent bit of different genres being shown off on their stage!
There’s almost always great performances here because it has almost become, for many great musicians in that part of Canada and internationally, the first place people visit to perform.
