St. Lucia Wine Tours: Top 5 Tasting Experiences
So, you are considering a trip to St. Lucia and thinking about sampling some vino, right? I mean, is that what this is about? Very well, what springs to mind first might be images of sugary beaches and dazzling blue sea, yet there is a bit of a burgeoning wine scene, too. Believe it or not, while St. Lucia may not be the very first spot you picture for vineyards, a set of spots offer wine tastings that could really give you an engaging switch from the normal tropical experience. Right then, let’s have a gander at several of what I, at least, consider the highest wine tours and tastings on this little slice of heaven.
1. Hotel Chocolat Tree-to-Bar Experience with Wine Pairing
Now, right off the bat, chocolate and wine, sounds pretty darn good, does it not? Over at the Hotel Chocolat, and no, very little to do with just candies as it turns out, they’ve basically come up with a brilliant “Tree-to-Bar” experience, and the interesting thing is that they include wine pairings. Is that something you’d be interested in, perchance? What usually goes on, as I kind of see it, is you get to tramp around their cocoa plantation, see how chocolate starts, then, you basically get busy making your own chocolate. I mean, by your own hand, as it were! Later, anyway, the experts, or the savvy people at the hotel there, will come and then start matching some wines with your cocoa developments. Is it the thing for you? Honestly, I think it could possibly actually enhance both flavors quite a bit, and will offer you some memories you can take home with you and chew on for quite some time. Seems a good place to begin. You could almost say that their method brings just a little bit extra to the dining event.

2. Fond Doux Plantation & Resort: A Colonial Tasting Adventure
Okay then, another one! If you like just a bit of the past, I am talking a genuine plantation visit, well, the Fond Doux Plantation & Resort may be your kind of spot. That means, at least to me anyway, you will go tromping all through its sixty-eighty hectare estate that kind of bursts with cocoa, tropical fruit trees and a whole array of very bright vegetation. Later, that, like once you have gained some sweat, they will offer tastings. Now the real key is that with all of this, Fond Doux will pair nearby wines that definitely have a habit of enhancing the entire experience. Oh, I failed to add, they have a cocoa themed tasting that’s just a little amazing. I think it makes a bit of sense and just sounds quite refreshing.

3. Ti Kaye Resort & Spa: Wine and Dine in Paradise
I’d imagine after traipsing, or just generally working up your appetite a fair bit on the cocoa trails, you could possibly just be looking for someplace pretty restful to try out wine. Yes? Too it’s almost time, I guess. That being considered, just try going over to Ti Kaye Resort & Spa. This hotel will sometimes hold targeted wine tasting activities with dinner. Also? Oh yeah, well its cliff-top area has a beautiful view over the Caribbean Sea; pretty impressive to some anyway. Right, anyway they usually partner with distinct wineries, and sometimes will feature an informed talk from a person about what wines will do well with meals, or anything like that. This makes for an interesting as well as unwinding wine outing that, I hope, many like yourself would appreciate, especially after an afternoon in that St. Lucia sun. After some cocoa-centered hikes you might well be looking to relax for an evening. Do not leave before visiting the bars though!

4. Local Wine Tasting at Festivals and Events
St. Lucia seems to have a habit, actually, of hosting various food and wine events every year. What does this suggest? It means that in case you will be coming for these gatherings, this may just really offer some nice chances to try several local wines that perhaps you simply could not be able to find often. Many of these festivals make that, or some way like that, possible! Often the local wineries have a booth and it is quite fun mingling, sharing, and generally living up your vino moments at these regional fairs or showcases. Seems kind of awesome in some respects? One example of a food celebration, for instance, would be that St. Lucia Food & Rum Fest. It is, like, world famous!
