Originally, the area was home to many Genoese immigrants, and they built their houses using leftover ship materials, which, they painted in bright colors. Pretty resourceful, right? 2. Fundación PROA: Contemporary Art Hub
Fundación PROA, you know, it’s a modern art museum, and very different from the streets of Caminito, it offers something a bit different, which can provide temporary exhibitions that show all kinds of current styles and methods from local and foreign performers. What is cool, really, and very nice, is that the architecture is very modern. Because the modern design stands out nicely amongst the historic houses of La Boca. It’s a bit like seeing something from the future standing right next to something from the past! You should also make time to visit their cafe on the top floor because the location looks over the docks that gives it something. So, just sit outside, breathe and enjoy your surroundings!

3. Quinquela Martín Museum: A Local Legend
Benito Quinquela Martín, like, he’s one of La Boca’s most celebrated artists. His paintings captured port life. Very active! Very interesting too! You can almost sense the atmosphere with a bit of the rough workers. Yet his works reflect the area with passion and spirit. That gave him fame for the industrial neighborhood that the city recognizes. Very influential as he shaped La Boca. When you see it, you understand and how the buildings show off and what is great.

5. Usina del Arte: A Cultural Powerhouse
Usina del Arte is not like just any spot in La Boca; so this renovated electric plant that looks fantastic houses art. Is that crazy! You might find things from concert dances. So, very many various events occur over there for culture! So very vibrant with some nice space to use it!
