There’s this local spot right here, called Island Coast Surf School and basically, these pros have got you covered, so. They run surf lessons, in some respects for all skill levels, I suppose – from absolute beginners, you know, through to those wanting to up their game on the board – very very, they cater for small groups, in a way which means everyone gets plenty of individual instruction and attention. Imagine, I suppose, standing up for your very first time and riding a wave, right? That kind of thrill is just seriously amazing and super hard to forget! I can see why surfers go chasing it for all their life. These lessons could be a cool way to just experience a different side to Phillip Island, right, a bit away from the wildlife. And honestly I have a bit of love for those that are not traditionally gifted too it’s almost, you’d still feel comfortable in a safe space in a classroom environment, almost like an elementary school, is that not a vibe to embrace?. Picture yourself outside, by the beach, actually painting a picture, right? Even though you can’t actually do it, imagine creating some memories right then. It’s actually less about churning out, kind of, a masterpiece and I suppose a bit more about soaking in the beauty that surrounds you. All the senses alive while painting the natural landscape. For people after some a bit thrilling and pretty different from those artistic-y courses, I suggest going to a go-kart, is that ok? Phillip Island Go-Karts will fill this gap very fast, with speed and thrill. In some respects they are for everyone, the go-karts at PI are very safe to get a go on and offer racing events. Okay but picture, you sitting there almost ready for blast off in a very race-tuned Go-Kart. With helmets, suits and full safety checks by marshals the race brings everyone to a frenzy. All excited as they are driving their kart on to the track it’s almost, this gives a super competitive thrill, or the thrill of just improving you pb (personal best) to all the riders that join for the racing day.

There are often lawn bowls being offered every time anyone goes to visit. Bring family members for some light physical game where they move the legs a little and go have chats and watch others. Its also a relaxing atmosphere where the bar staff goes to everyone’s tables for orders so literally no movement is really compulsory from bowlers – super chill.
