4. Landskron Castle & Eagle Show

Right perched pretty near Villach, not so far from Klagenfurt lies that imposing Burg Landskron. You will agree the ruins have had, what you might say, something of a refresh now home to shows with eagles as stars of, could be, all the performance shows.

Why it’s Cool: It’s not any ancient pile of rock, yet at times could be described as a bit like one – it’s been given new, right actually quite new, life as a terrific attraction. That beautiful village lying over the lake from Klagenfurt, named Maria Wörth is a totally picturesque point, you could say practically pulling your camera out to, of course, catch some scenes there.
