Terry Black’s Barbecue: Authentic Texas BBQ
This next bit should feed you in that “true” state-like-of-Texas manner: Barbecue – so there is Terry Black’s Barbecue, see? I mean, you actually, simply, can’t talk about the Dallas food scene without tipping your hat to some seriously legit Texas barbecue, too. And that, really, right there, Terry Black’s does it exactly as they should, right? This family-owned joint came straight from Austin, so that’s authentic indeed, and has basically been slinging, well, some, apparently, pretty darn incredible meats since way back when, almost, right?
They serve their barbecue with the usual sides, that of course include, yeah, coleslaw, mac and cheese and so on. My favorite sides, like I was saying, tend to lean towards that mac ‘n’ cheese, actually. All with very high compliments. What’s, I guess, impressive is the fact you get that amazing choice! What is more Dallas than “a full range and choice in every category” after all?
Listen, it’s just about picking the meats you want. Then watching as they slice them right in front of you, actually, right? Seriously, you grab a tray, right?, load it up, and then just get ready for, basically, that food coma. Their brisket? Man, it’s got, like, this super smoky flavor with such, I suppose, that, beautiful bark, which just shows this ring from the smoking, very. You know, it is just very long, so. Also those ribs. Also there with just the right amount of, obviously, tug, and tenderness that it just falls off the bone. I tend to grab these two items whenever I’m here.

However, the Rustic is known for also showcasing local artists. Their aim there? It is really showcasing to everyone that Dallas has something good and to offer people and artists from out-of-town and visitors. Great thinking I, personally, have thought so.
