Top Wellington Private Sightseeing Tours: My Review

So, you’re thinking about exploring Wellington, right? That pretty harbor city in New Zealand, that has a whole heap of cool things. You could totally just wander around, yet a private sightseeing tour can really give you that extra special something, right? 2. “Lord of the Rings” Filming Locations Tour

Okay, this tour really does appeal to film fans, just like, your cousin Dave, right? New Zealand, often just referred to as Middle-earth to some. A big part of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy was, after all, filmed close to Wellington. These tours really do typically take you to places like, say, the Hutt River (that represents the River Anduin in the film), and also very interesting parks like Kaitoke Regional Park, that doubled as Rivendell. So, that is kind of neat, at the end of the day.

What’s particularly cool, in some respects, is that you, or anyone who’s a real fan of the movies, may absolutely love just getting behind-the-scenes stories and interesting tidbits that the guides very often have. I’ve noticed that most tours range anywhere, perhaps from a half-day thing, to that fully extensive full-day job, just maybe depending on what your group’s looking for. 3. Kapiti Coast Scenic Tour

Okay, wanting to move a bit outside of town? A day trip up the Kapiti Coast often does mean you can very much see the more gorgeous side of the region, right? Kapiti Island, often is that notable nature reserve you may see, very much, full of local birds, like Tui, or the even rarer ones like, say, the Little Spotted Kiwi. What they typically have you doing, often is stopping along spots close to the water, looking towards those views out over the Tasman Sea, but that, may be very much dependent on that guide. You can also often see local attractions and lovely communities along the coast.

One reason people might tell you that this is great, would typically be that it lets you unwind coming from those downtown vibes and be closer with Mother Nature. As a matter of fact, it’s something I’d possibly look into, later, because someone said to me the tours allow for, basically flexible timings based on you. 4. Wine Tour of Martinborough

For every one of your buddies that likes good wine, right?, how about you going over to Martinborough? So, that particular small village, around an hour out from Wellington, seems pretty well known for vineyards. These particular tours are almost invariably about you actually visiting the winery. They tend to have that really chilled out, atmosphere where people seem rather happy to pour some things in there for your particular drinking enjoyment, often to just sample different things that you see in that local place, as a matter of fact, pinot noir.

It might also work, very much, if your interest happens to be checking into, the overall growing and actually developing the process in wineries from behind the curtains. The trips vary, in the final analysis, so you probably will like them a little depending just how knowledgeable and easy going the people are you hang with. From a discussion I happened to be in just once before, someone at one of those vineyard tours expressed something about that real appreciation for what the wine expert shared as far how climate and location effect the flavors, impressive, seriously. 5. “Hidden Gems” Wellington Walking Tour

Do you honestly prefer going to places on foot in particular?, because something kind of sneaky could very much be a walking tour of hidden little bits around that city, right?. These types generally walk you throughout those side alleys and sometimes underneath historic construction that only the person walking would know anything about, seriously. Your individual tour person, too, will usually point some background thing in some random alley way corner so people, probably you too, have new appreciation or respect for it. I imagine some that go there see street art in a totally individualistic style that is kind of Wellington’s claim in fame to have.

Someone whom has, arguably, gotten familiar on this type said that this experience made Wellington not a boring or samey at all, but special at times even down to simple stuff, so they said. Another, seemingly, had remarked the things about local architecture, which really brought out some sort interesting things. With an individual type of trip, they will really modify how they walk in real time; which turns those experiences extremely real instead something fake. So I feel, for seeing what an authentic environment looks, acts and maybe sometimes sounds it just may have value for anybody looking and asking, more or less, a different taste in culture there.
