My children adore coming to visit! When vacation time swings around it is hard to find something that even children with their low attention spans can enjoy. I was relieved when not only were they engrossed, but the employees were accommodating and assisted them in ways I could not when we went to take pottery lessons as a family. This allowed me and my husband a modicum of peace of mind as the instructors took real care of our children teaching them professional skills to show off to the family. Would recommend to anyone with little ones! – Carol J.

One Patron of a local library had this to say when questioned about their learning experiences and engagement with Sevierville’s public access:
My mother loves being around others, as she had trouble socializing during and after her recent divorce, finding a way to socialize outside her home became important as part of getting over her relationship problems. I was quite excited to learn that the local libraries near our family actually had a great many sessions open to the elderly, or retired! After suggesting these options my mother has been doing her best to visit them regularly for sessions about knitting, book reviews, or other small crafting gatherings and it would seem her separation with my father is less of an obstacle on her psyche nowadays! Libraries are truly great resources for locals and I am eternally thankful for our librarians doing what they can to give resources back to my loving mother. – Amanda K.
