You can just wander around without feeling like you’re going to get lost in a massive crowd, and at the end of the day, that’s what a good day trip is about.

What to Get Into: The Port and the Old Walls

So, what should you actually do with your time here? Well, a walk along the old ramparts is, to be honest, a must-do. It combines the coastal flavors with classic Moroccan spices. In short, whatever you choose, eating fresh fish by the sea is, you know, a core part of the Essaouira experience. It’s just a little bit different from the tagines you’ve been eating inland.

The Afternoon Vibe: Shopping and a Final Mint Tea

Just sit at a sidewalk café, watch the world go by, and soak in the chilled-out atmosphere one last time.
