It’s also pretty great for people who have maybe been to Barcelona before. You know, you’ve seen the main sites, and now you want to experience the city in a new, more dynamic way. You sort of get to rediscover the places you thought you knew.

On the other hand, we should talk about who might want to think twice. As a matter of fact, if you’re a really nervous driver or have absolutely no experience on a two-wheeled vehicle, you might find the city traffic a bit overwhelming. While the Vespas are easy to handle, you do need to be, you know, aware and focused. Similarly, this probably isn’t the best option for families with young children, for obvious safety reasons. You need a valid car driver’s license to rent one, and they will, of course, check it. At the end of the day, it’s an activity that requires a certain level of confidence and a spirit for a little adventure. If that sounds like you, then I really couldn’t recommend it more.

I mean, at the end of the day, the freedom is what you are really getting. It’s the ability to turn down a street just because it looks interesting. That’s something you just don’t get on a bus.
