Which spices do they prefer? What are some special preparations? A cooking class gives you, literally, a taste of the country! There are many places in Jerusalem to find, usually, just the thing. But, “A Taste of Israel“, is an outfit that comes recommended! Now, the teachers there aren’t only top notch, they are super friendly. The classes aren’t demonstrations; you get your hands messy as you learn traditional recipes and techniques. Picture this: you are creating your own hummus, shakshuka and learn tricks for baking challah. Sounds good, eh? Okay so, if food is not quite your style, no sweat, how about calligraphy? Believe me, that beautiful writing isn’t just for Torah scribes! If you like, like your hands, this class might be just the place to get creative and learn a new skill. Calligraphy workshops in Jerusalem explore classic Hebrew calligraphy. Very neat? I believe that many of these classes take place in small studios and give a close-up experience. You receive direction and the history and meaning of all the characters, is that so interesting?. A nice aspect that one should note: even a total beginner can finish with some cool art at the end. These art forms often focus on Jewish themes, which allow people to engage Hebrew writing, too it’s religious texts at the same time, in a really new way. It, might be, the way to connect spiritually and artistically.

Alright, let’s use our brains a little, too it’s maybe also engage our spirits at the same time!
