Lake Tekapo Activities: Top 5 Outdoor Adventures & Things To Do
Lake Tekapo, with its crazy blue water and skies that pop, really is a spot that’s kind of hard to beat, wouldn’t you agree? It’s located in the Mackenzie Basin on New Zealand’s South Island and isn’t just some pretty picture, so too, it’s also got a whole host of outdoor thrills just waiting for you to come along and have a shot at them. Stargazing at the Mount John Observatory

Think of just checking the black sky over you, lit only by what falls from up above – no light pollution to mess with it. What a shock. Plus, so, you know what to look out for in those far-out, far-off sets. It gets really icy up there no matter the time, arguably. Take more cloth layers so things don’t go bad while watching spots and twinkles!

Lake Tekapo Scenic Flights
Just a flight over the Tekapo is the play to catch those high and away shots of the landscape with Southern Alps to boot. From up that high you’re free to spy crazy glacier lakes with waters a crazy bright turquoise. To take those photos it makes you think they aren’t things on land. Flights are, usually, a go no matter the budget because there are different ones with various spins available. You can roll by a chopper or get up high with those that fly flat.
I, to be frank, am going to let you hear more about one that gets you super close to Mount Cook; that peak runs the top, is that? I bet if the day has good vibes and good light that flyer takes the auto doors clean out to lift your outlook. It’s much safer than it sounds! See those dark green brush dots going here and there. Look hard while the chopper zips around valleys for big ice walls. These flights almost are a blast because they get you so you can make out just how tough all this land actually has become.
Try those Snow Landing spins! So many rides hold an on-snow stop that you can walk about with those white places. That break to stroll that much snow does not come often, almost. To think how wide and untouched snow up there looks on high runs crazy in the bones and that’s it.
You just must get seats near glass on your tour to see what you spend for! Just in case, you had best think to lock rides far off, just as early rides are at hand. To shoot Mount Cook is on folks to see when over at Lake Tekapo in my eyes.

Hiking and Walking Trails
Lake Tekapo is a killer land to lock into those long hikes if you want to go outside and burn some fuel for shots to keep as drops from the tops you get, that is. Walks there shoot from plain loops on shores up tough hill runs, actually. Take time and run just that hike that ticks, with luck, your fancy.
Walks on Cowans Hill are hits there if folks dig shots, apparently. It isn’t long getting up, so you don’t stay hurt. That trail climbs high so views of Tekapo, the southern Alps all do pop. Try to hold there as it rains less for just good outlooks if that comes at all to be.
If you long to just tramp near that blue wet side of things, there looks a nice walk out there running god-awful hard on Tekapo’s Shore. See what plants drop by with or fly above that ground while out! That walk, more or less, is cool for slow feet on just flat sand while not too tough for little lads, very.
If things do get bad quick up on top keep those map plans! To walk up Tekapo helps build the body to kick those down times off as hikes look that clear!

Kayaking and Paddleboarding on Lake Tekapo
To fly, say in an auto with power can cut those spots tight, still with ships or rafts out where they fly? Out on that great Lake Tekapo waters can kick as a gift too! So think about riding the lakeshore line just so on that boat. To feel what you’re missing? Paddle from what I may say looks that safe. Then there might kick to bring luck on the day on just lakes and coasts!
Kick and glide over on the flat Lake Tekapo in its flat kayak days for all who feel okay that way! All, even folk off-hand feel free here to swim or paddle by ways to land a spot. To drift so clear and at pace is so great and calm on water.
How is flat boarding so nice when just up at Tekapo? Stand and try rowing as all you like feel it goes slow just to chill by wet ways so calm, rather. It’s almost hard though: You must just hold on just by air from time after time if falls hurt.
Rent out at Tekapo at shops by land with rides near and good! So what goes and holds at wet spots? Those cool tricks and games from trips out high with waters!

Hot Springs at Tekapo Springs
Following all hard kicks on treks or wings what might look grand? I am keen to talk up that bit that I know best: the calming hot springs right on location by Tekapo spots! See those rocks go well on their own: get those to go chill off with at this place. As it sits and chills with water, a view pops in. Those spots there I like with pools both close by land! See how hard you work: so flat there and close that to warm is well that fun on my bones now there?
Each lake out here pops right out of soil right close and is said well to do good stuff if bad health drops by. These pools sit outside which means what? That on spots like that sky looks long!
You are on hand to catch at that slide by wet stuff here too while up so high and if folk like that they say all is right up that hill spot to land.
