1. Pennsylvania State Capitol Tour
Alright, let’s begin with something iconic. Too it’s almost, the Pennsylvania State Capitol is more than just where laws happen; rather, it’s seriously a masterpiece of architecture and art. Very, guided tours here give you this great look at the building’s stunning design, filled with murals, sculptures, and seriously cool history. Typically, you get to see the Senate and House chambers. First, there is also the Supreme Court which is very interesting. Oh and that pretty Whispering Dome, where you can definitely test how sound carries—that bit is actually awesome.
Clearly, it is great just walking through the building’s halls and imagining all the debates that took place. I mean, really, it just feels so cool thinking about what the folks thought back then. Instead, learning the history is interesting and fun, but I think you should visit to see art inside, too it’s almost just great. Then, seeing art from folks back then feels very interesting for someone like your’s truly, you can almost get a sense for the soul of Harrisburg, in some respects.

I mean, what an absolutely incredible thing that almost everyone can enjoy! First, the views you get are just outstanding. Basically, different cruises give you different cool options, from sightseeing rides to dinner cruises and special events.

Anyway, guides take you all through local historical landmarks, parks, and all sorts of different attractions, all while talking to you and actually explaining the history as you scoot along, virtually.
I almost thought that Harrisburg did not seem the spot for segways. Definitely, after going I can confirm this would be fun for just about anybody to use, alright! Honestly, going along the riverfront and taking in the sites of the city can be more fun than just walking around everywhere. More or less, for getting out to all those sites that seem a little further out, too it’s almost perfect, anyway. 4. National Civil War Museum
Of course, looking to steep into history some more? Then, I might need to point folks in the direction of the National Civil War Museum. It is that Smithsonian affiliated spot which seeks, somehow, to present an evenhanded viewpoint on an period in American history with loads of discord and trauma. Basically, the displays here highlight real stories and situations of all those parties involved, not simply battles and political issues.
Very, what is cool, so, is you see items owned personally by many, with documents, as well as reenactments to add interest. You may spend an entire day, pretty much, analyzing stuff if you desire. Still, if you only plan to see the significant stuff it doesn’t really require that long, to be honest. Now, I am confident that any tour to here really causes more critical reasoning and offers an amazing look at our past, or it seems that way.

Very, a few things that my kids have adored include both the miniature train ride, the carousel, but more broadly they have had the time of their lives, at least according to my assessment! So, City Island becomes almost like a complete time of attractions and activities perfect whenever planning your travels through Harrisburg if perhaps just spending the entire morning and afternoons in town.
