Want a quaint trip instead of an Alpine adventure? You should go to Yvoire, basically, a gorgeous medieval village right on the banks of Lake Geneva. It takes around an hour to reach from Annecy. That will pass through some pretty countryside, so I find the drive itself really enjoyable. Once you show up in Yvoire, you’ll have the feeling that way you’re back in time. That is where Yvoire’s old stone buildings, flower-filled balconies, and ancient ramparts are that kind of transports you to a story book setting, that is where magic happen.
The Jardin des Cinq Sens (Garden of the Five Senses) tends to be the most famous place to see. So, too it’s important to point out this beautiful garden will charm you by bringing each sense to life – aroma, touch, taste, sight, and hearing too. Next stroll down the streets, so just a little, arguably poking into small local craft shops. Grab an ice cream, you could. 3. Aix-les-Bains: Spa Town and Lakeside Fun
Want a bit of rest and relaxation for your break? Right, Aix-les-Bains is this lovely spa town set on the shores of Lac du Bourget. A forty-five-minute drive from Annecy tends to be pretty simple. That gives you all the leisure time you need and makes the drive simple. So, could you feel it? This lakeside town once upon a time was really the place for the rich and well-known that used to come to enjoy its spas, and now you can have this experience.
Now think, start by spending a peaceful morning by the lake, might be strolling the promenade and taking in the calm scenes. Have you ever been at a lakeside beach like that? 4. Geneva, Switzerland: International Flair
If you fancy jumping across to another country, you should head over to Geneva, Switzerland. Just a bit, arguably sitting about 45 minutes from Annecy is close enough, might be.
