Greenwich Village, you know, it’s that place in New York City that’s just, like, got so much character. People are drawn there, that’s right, like magnets to its lively streets and quirky charm. I remember, too, one time when I was there, just wandering around, taking it all in – the historic buildings, a little beatnik vibe still floating around, even to this day. Thing is, it’s a really superb place, in fact, for just soaking up some outdoor vibes. In fact, I saw a guy there, not long ago, doing, well, this amazing bubble show, he made, it seems to me, these giant bubbles that everyone just really loved. Okay, so, to really get a sense of Greenwich Village, then a walking tour is just the ticket. You tend to learn so much, in fact, so many things, things, you see, that you wouldn’t spot alone, actually. There are, too, history tours that touch on the literary legends who once haunted, I think, the neighborhood and, actually, tours that shine a spotlight on the area’s role, apparently, in music and the arts. On my last tour, you know, our guide pointed out, if you can imagine, a tiny little plaque that I never noticed before. Anyway, it told the place where Bob Dylan lived back in the early 60s! The High Line: An Elevated Escape

Yeah, now the High Line, that’s, perhaps, not *strictly* in Greenwich Village, maybe not, but very near. That is one way of looking at it, a short walk west, more or less, and what it is, right, it’s this, so called, elevated park, you know, built on old railway lines. Very unique, that. It’s lovely for, more or less, a relaxed stroll. Plus the, seemingly, plant life and the views really set, you see, a cool, pleasant scene, I think. Too, there are places along the way, I think, where you can just grab a coffee, that seems nice. Plus it makes, almost, like a great break from the sidewalks. Kayaking on the Hudson River: A Different Perspective

Here, is one activity, so, if you feel quite, perhaps, adventurous, that, like your perspective might, yeah, change in a way: kayak along the Hudson! A few rental places exist not very far to Greenwich Village’s borders. You are able to see Manhattan; It might even give your arm muscles some workout and maybe offer different city outlook, kind of on, what is that, shimmering liquid area, it seems to me. I just went last summer, or what was almost the tail end of Summer. It might seem difficult at first, what’s this, gliding through water, or something, after all, like busy streets but believe me. You can almost have your way exploring records. To perhaps stop by cafes; Just taking any local scenes may feel awesome for all; In some ways that area gets you out on some adventures, too, perhaps finding many novel sights while being one amongst various Village areas to appreciate.
