Basically, the three-hour boat trip up the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls is a highlight for, well, almost everyone. You just slowly motor up the river, and the riverbanks are literally teeming with life. For instance, you will see pods of hippos, some of them with hundreds of individuals, just chilling in the water.
