From the 124th floor, you just take a spiral staircase up to the 125th. This level is, you know, fully enclosed, so you get a bit of a break from the wind and the heat. The view is more or less the same, but the feeling inside is different, a little quieter maybe. This floor is a bit more about the interactive exhibits. For example, there’s this thing called ‘A Falcon’s Eye View’ that gives you this amazing digital tour of the city from a bird’s perspective, which is frankly quite clever. It’s set up to look like it’s cracking under your feet as you walk on it. 1. Pick Your Time Smartly: You know, everyone wants to go at sunset, and it is definitely a stunning time to be up there. Yet, it gets very, very crowded. So, if you prefer fewer people and possibly clearer skies, a morning slot, like, right after they open, could actually be a better option for you. The light is pretty good for pictures then too.
2. Travel Light: Honestly, you don’t need much. A small bag or backpack is fine, but they’ll ask you to check any large bags or shopping at the front. Just bring your phone or a good camera, of course. You really don’t want to be weighed down with stuff as you walk around up there.
3. Don’t Feel Rushed: So, your ticket is for a specific time to go up, but there is no time limit for how long you can stay on the 124th and 125th floors. You can pretty much take your time. In fact, just find a spot by the window, look around, and let the sheer scale of the view sink in.
4. Book Ahead: This is a really big one. Just, you know, buy your tickets online in advance. It’s often cheaper, and it guarantees you a spot. So, you can just show up and not worry about it being sold out for the day, which can actually happen.

Is Level 148 Really That Different?

So, one question you might have is about the other ticket option, the one that takes you way up to the 148th floor. It’s called the SKY experience, and it’s definitely a more premium ticket. Basically, with that one, you get to skip some of the lines, and they take you to a special lounge with some dates and coffee. Up on the 148th floor, the atmosphere is, like, much calmer and more exclusive. There are fewer people, and you have staff walking around offering you drinks. The view is, of course, a little higher. Still, is the change in perspective from floor 125 to 148 that big? To be honest, not dramatically. It’s almost a case of things just looking a little smaller. For most visitors, the experience on floors 124 and 125 is absolutely amazing and gives you everything you’re looking for. The SKY ticket is more for someone who, you know, really wants that extra bit of luxury and quiet and doesn’t mind the much higher price tag.
