A Genuine Look at the 2025 ‘Camping and Hiking Adventure: Discovering the South’

So, I’m finally sitting down to write about this trip, and honestly, my legs are still sort of feeling that good kind of tired. We just got back from the ‘Camping and Hiking Adventure: Discovering the South’ tour for 2025, and you know, it was really something else. I had, like, a few people ask me if it was worth it, so I figured I’d just lay it all out here. You know, before you book a trip like this, you obviously want to know what you’re getting into, right? It’s basically a full week of trekking through some seriously beautiful country and sleeping under the stars. Well, mostly in a tent, but you get what I mean. Anyway, I took a bunch of mental notes and want to share what the experience was actually like, from the trails to the people and the food cooked over a fire, and stuff.

So, if you are thinking about this adventure, my hope is that my experience gives you a pretty good picture of what to expect, from the moment you meet the group to the very last dusty trail back to civilization. It’s the kind of trip that really sticks with you, you know?
