And, of course, you will get to see the stunning modern Library of Alexandria, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. It’s this massive, really impressive piece of modern architecture. The guide, like, explains how the whole building is a thoughtful tribute to the famous original library from long ago. It’s actually cool to see that in person. Then you might go check out the Citadel of Qaitbay, which is an old fort right there on the water, you know? The views you get from the top are, well, pretty much amazing and worth the walk up.
