As a matter of fact, the process was surprisingly seamless; a guide was, like, standing right there on the platform holding a sign with my name clearly written on it. He was, to be honest, extremely welcoming from the very first moment. Driving through the city of Agra is, you know, kind of an eye-opening activity compared to the sprawling feel of Delhi; it’s just a little smaller but has its own unique kind of buzz and pace.
The Main Event: Standing Before the Taj Mahal
Alright, this is, like, the moment everyone on this trip is waiting for. Walking through that massive main gateway, well, it’s just a totally different feeling from seeing it in photos. You sort of stop in your tracks, honestly, and just stare for a moment. The structure itself is, in some respects, almost glowing under the sun, and it feels a lot larger and more present than I had ever pictured.
