Overall, this tour is sort of perfect for someone who wants to see the best of the Gauja region without any of the logistical stress. You really get a mix of everything, from very old forts and wild animals to the strange echoes of the Soviet period. For a family, a couple, or even someone traveling by themselves who wants a day packed with interesting things, this is absolutely a good choice. I mean, we saw and did so much in one day, and it honestly never felt rushed.

Frankly, the best part was seeing so much varied history and nature in one day, all without having to once look at a map or a bus schedule. It lets you just absorb the feeling of the place.
