Abraão Day Trips: Top 5 Island Adventures Reviewed
Alright, so if you’re thinking of escaping to Ilha Grande and hanging your hat in Vila do Abraão, that cute, is that the main village, then that’s awesome! What’s even better is using it as your home base for exploring the entire island. Getting out of town for a day lets you really soak up all that wild island beauty, too it’s almost something everyone should do. I’m gonna take you through five, very cool day trips, and they’ll show off the absolute best bits of Ilha Grande.
1. Lopes Mendes Beach: Paradise Found
Lopes Mendes, it’s apparently ranked one of the world’s most gorgeous beaches – no joke! That mile-long stretch of super-fine, gleaming white sand, too it’s just gorgeous, is something to stare at. The water is super clear, yet, sometimes the waves get kind of feisty, very excellent for surfing or just splashing around, I feel. You know, like your inner kid just needs a place to play? It has a completely undeveloped vibe too it’s almost a paradise feeling, still it has a natural, unspoiled allure that, arguably, draws visitors from all over. So it is just very important for those craving serene settings that provide a stunning visual treat, and also something unique.
Getting There: To get there from Vila do Abraão, what people typically do is grab a boat over to Praia do Pouso (a shorter boat ride!) then you walk along a trail for about 20 minutes, as a matter of fact. 2. Lagoa Azul (Blue Lagoon): Snorkeling Heaven
This spot, so Lagoa Azul, is more or less named appropriately for its dreamy, super clear, turquoise water. So, literally everyone likes to hop on a boat tour that will stop there for a bit, too it’s something special, and then, by the way, you can snorkel and hang out with tons of colorful fish. We were, in short, talking like, parrots and sergeants – tons of these guys are around here! If you’re all about the sea life and wanting a super chill dip, then it is an absolute can’t-miss. So do it! Lagoa Azul is a, actually, top pick to admire, in some respects, so, Ilha Grande’s underwater allure for everyone.

3. Dois Rios (Two Rivers): History and Beauty Combined
This spot is unique, as a matter of fact – I mean, very. As a matter of fact, that name “Dois Rios” literally refers to the two rivers which bracket this secluded beach spot! The thing that makes it really interesting, you know, might tend to be the old, abandoned prison. The prison has a, arguably, somber, sort of past; still, in some respects, it sits right close to that fantastic shoreline! 4. Aventureiro Beach: A Remote Escape
Want to feel completely cut off from all kinds of hubs for modern-day action? Therefore, Aventureiro Beach could be that absolute spot for you. The way the coast curves, clearly, adds a touch of real drama and also something quite, possibly unforgettable, but on the whole I would like for people to bring their photo stuff with them. It really can also serve up the postcard style snap-shots when people stop. Very quiet for tourists? Yet still is one beach that will be the envy for a lot people you can mention back home when showing vacation videos or photos!
Getting There: Now this means doing more or less 2 boat hops away or even taking some hike that’s more long – think almost an intermediate version, frankly. 5. Feiticeira Waterfall: Refreshing Nature Bath
A little hike off-beat maybe, potentially offering quite almost jungle immersion – and I mention that as the way you access Cascade Feiticeira that, arguably, falls like more like natural hydro fun? Anyway, there, the route will lead you straight from Abraão too it’s also kind of handy. The water does cascade a great, maybe moderate way and by then creates perfect swimming pool environments naturally as you watch water come down the slopes then find pools right after as nature will shape pools directly below which you swim easily around inside without much risk in any area; though potentially do supervise children that you can’t always know too well – more like still a mother figure would never allow for harm right near babies while near this water place!
Getting There: I do suspect more the trails going at such beauty also won’t feel much work; put shoes perfect even more just because, literally, earth stuff is underneath these passages potentially being all muddy sometimes and perhaps slippery often.
