I was talking to the head chef a couple of weeks ago, actually, and the team uses local ingredients to prepare classics, as I recall. In that case, picture this: perfectly grilled halloumi, rich tapenades, and homemade pastas, with flavors that burst right in your mouth. And the breads, people! Really worth writing home about. The space is such a calm spot, and the service is also really charming. A true must-visit in Arusha.

Over many years, really, it has become that iconic spot, specifically, known for its grilled meats and buzzy vibes. Just about every evening, those grills, like, come alive, and it is a sizzle fest. The air smells delightful. They serve things buffet style; also, you can get almost everything, coming with salads, naan, various side things, too! That chicken tikka, and, you know, lamb kebabs, are quite delicious. If you do stop in Arusha, it can be really fun.

This place, maybe, isn’t fancy, yet that experience more than makes for this. Just about everyone talks about those good value vibes. Count around $10 to $20 for each individual, depending on exactly how much one eats.

This place is surrounded by some wonderful greenery, and you are, basically, far away from everything!

They place a big emphasis on all locally sourced goodies and ingredients, plus a farm-to-table style menu. Do sample just some of those coffee dishes that they got available. Seriously tasty. It will cost around $30-$50; that is, per individual, depending on all the cocktails you order!

4. Africafe: Your Coffee Fix in Arusha

No matter what, no food excursion is complete without stopping at a cafe; thus, this spot provides. When that, just the mention of “Tanzanian coffee,” makes your taste buds quiver, just check Africafe! It really does a pretty amazing job, really, of representing everything awesome around that region’s coffee culture. I can remember when I, literally, dropped in a couple times several weeks. This, now, is, also, a hangout for plenty of locals, too.

You are gonna find all these drinks – from espresso to the cappuccinos. Plus, I do recall them selling snacks as well like some pastries. This is a good place for a nice little recharge.

Your cost might land anywhere between 5 or even $15 US, in a way, based, again, on what, exactly, that one goes ordering!

5. George’s Tavern: Local Flavors and a Lively Vibe

To enjoy, slightly, more Tanzanian cooking, head just a bit south of Arusha, a very brief distance. In that case, people tend to regard this, somewhat, of a more low key joint; anyway, do not assume it isn’t really superb in providing that authentic stuff that you just desire! Locals appear just constantly!

There are, apparently, all those familiar meals; and as a matter of fact, many say they love the goat dishes in this location. You want a super tasty plus simple option. I would visit this taverna. And for, that local beer as well. You won’t probably shell out anything above $5 to $15 bucks each individual at that taverna!
