2. Pat Conroy Literary Center: Where Words Come Alive

Oh, that, the Pat Conroy Literary Center, that does this great thing by pretty much protecting and honoring Pat Conroy, now an awesome storyteller and Lowcountry hero. So, really, the center does shine light on Pat’s work, his ties, and the effect he had, on writing and instruction. Apparently, fans of Conroy get treated to archives, presentations, and even get opportunities to engage directly with working authors.

A little, the Literary Center goes above just remembrance by building an area that, is there to support writing. In a way, they have events, which they use, for education as well, it does bring individuals, who love books together, that have all types of different interests. That means they can just share, can think out loud, together, with all different backgrounds. And it creates a real sense, for a group. It’s for every fan of the written word and, also, those inspired just that little bit by Conroy.

3. Tabby Ruins at Fort Fremont: Echoes of the Spanish-American War

Basically, Fort Fremont, found on St. Helena Island, it almost showcases parts that survived that did used to function in the Spanish-American war time. That’s what used to be for shore protection.
