1. Strolling Along the Promenade Maurice Rouvier

Promenade Maurice Rouvier

Now, if you’re looking to just soak in the coastal beauty, taking a leisurely walk along the Promenade Maurice Rouvier is definitely something you might want to do. That promenade winds its way around the Cap Ferrat peninsula, offering views that are quite spectacular every single step of the way, right? It is more or less a pretty gentle path, which makes it perfect for a relaxed stroll, and it’s accessible to, like, everyone, as a matter of fact. You’ll see views overlooking the water that just go on and on, and you might spot some seriously impressive villas along the way, in a way. That bit of the coastline is amazing!

Just think of the turquoise water, and that lovely Mediterranean sun! Walking there is quite something! You may want to, at the end of your walk, grab an ice cream from one of those stands around the marina and just sit there to soak in all that wonderful Riviera energy. You might spot one of those crazy, enormous yachts, since they are everywhere, usually! And if you happen to be the sort to photograph a bunch of things (like me), you might even take one of those super artsy sunset pics as well!

Beaulieu-sur-Mer Beaches

Now, who would travel all the way to the French Riviera and not hang out on its beaches? Probably no one! Anyway, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, you see, is pretty fortunate in this area, because it boasts some incredibly delightful beaches! Like your own little slice of paradise, that! And if you’re the kind that prefers things to be comfortable, you can rent one of those sunbeds and umbrellas at places like Plage Petite Afrique, okay? The water’s usually really calm there, too it’s almost like a vast, crystal-clear pool, perfect for floating around with your eyes closed or reading a book, arguably.

Now, the vibe on these beaches tends to be fairly chilled-out, alright, making it ideal for families or those who simply want a peaceful afternoon soaking up the sun. That said, for the active, there are a bunch of spots where you can rent gear for paddleboarding or kayaking, so it’s almost like you’ve got everything right there. If you plan ahead, maybe, you can even take a picnic with some local goodies to enjoy by the shore, now that’s something! After you get all that sunlight and sea, maybe grab an amazing cocktail at a cool beachfront restaurant. That’s quite the luxury vacation move, now isn’t it?

3. Exploring the Villa Kérylos

Villa Kérylos

So, if you’re one to appreciate historical buildings or artsy spaces, then seeing the Villa Kérylos is really something, alright? It might actually be one of the coolest historical sites in the whole area! Anyway, constructed in the early 20th century by a rich scholar named Théodore Reinach, the villa is, like, a faithful reconstruction of an ancient Greek dwelling. I am being honest here, it really feels like stepping back in time to ancient Greece when you stroll its halls!

The inside spaces boast super cool marble interiors, delicate mosaics, and furniture from ancient times. The gardens, meanwhile, provide breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, which adds something truly spectacular, don’t you think? If you pay attention and are, say, lucky with timing, you could potentially catch one of the guided tours. If not, exploring the villa on your own, wandering around each room, might also be fun. It’s definitely an activity that offers a cool change from typical seaside frolicking, and is something worth remembering.

4. Day Trip to Èze Village and Jardin Exotique

Èze Village and Jardin Exotique

For one of those “out of town” day trip adventures, think about visiting Èze, it is almost one of the more memorable outings! See, the village is, like, perched high on a hilltop, and that alone already gives you incredible panoramic views of the coastline! I remember I couldn’t believe my eyes! The town has cobblestone streets that feel ancient, old stone buildings everywhere you look, and you might find quite a few artisan shops and boutiques there too, still! Stop for coffee somewhere nice to soak up the atmosphere!

Very near to the village, is the Jardin Exotique, a botanical garden with one of the wildest cactus collections, which is also something else! Seriously, these views from up there are so good that you almost start believing in those motivational quotes that seem way too unreal to read anyway. It’s a rather unforgettable experience if you are visiting the French Riviera, and a very great day out that combines sightseeing, light exercise, and a whole lot of taking awesome pictures. So, basically, that kind of trip might be a dream if you are a bit tired of seaside and beaches!

5. Coastal Hiking on Cap Ferrat

Coastal Hiking on Cap Ferrat

Oh, you love walking or hiking in general, so you’re really very lucky, because Cap Ferrat offers some spectacular hiking trails along the coast! Anyway, the pathways offer different challenges and varying distances that might suit different levels of fitness, you know? Whether it is a casual walk you want, or some bit of something tougher, those routes provide, again, crazy views of the Med, not to mention some totally unspoiled little spots, alright?

Arguably, the hike that circles the entire cape is, like, a real adventure and provides great photo opportunities! Along the trails, I should mention that you are very likely to encounter some stunning villas (I’ve mentioned that) as well as secluded beaches and coves! You can easily spend a bunch of hours just wandering, finding unique viewpoints, and being closer to , like, the local flora and fauna! Maybe after the hike, treat yourself at a waterfront cafe in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and eat something with a wonderful view, ok? In my humble opinion, one that that mixes the outdoors with luxurious treats, that kind of day has some real Riviera class.
