1. Capri Boat Tour with Blue Grotto Visit
Let’s be real, no trip to Capri is fully complete without experiencing the island by sea, really. These boat tours usually circle the entire island, offering unreal views of those famed Faraglioni rocks and glimpses into the island’s collection of sea caves. So, what many find the star is often that visit to the Blue Grotto – that sea cave that’s just lit with a mesmerizing blue light. You may want to allow time for potential queues at the Grotto’s entrance. Tours usually last about two hours, so you often get that decent slice of Capri’s coastal splendor. It seems some of these tours depart from Marina Grande, Capri’s main harbor, is that right?
One time, when I visited, very I wasn’t prepared for how popular the Blue Grotto truly is, you know? We got there early-ish, like at 9 am, and even then, that wait to get inside the tiny entrance was about 45 minutes. Still, when our little rowboat slid through that tight opening and into that Grotto’s interior, I’m not sure that it was just straight-up magic. I guess you need to bend down almost flat to avoid hitting your head, then boom you are in a world of vibrant blue. The boatman sang a classic Italian song, that bounced around the cave in this unbelievable echo, alright? That water was like electric blue Kool-Aid, so clear you could see the silver fish swimming below, isn’t that odd? A bit expensive, I would imagine, but seriously I guess that experience is totally worth it, is that correct?

2. Capri Day Trip from Naples or Sorrento
For anyone hanging out in Naples or Sorrento, but these day trips to Capri almost offer an effortless escape to the island. Actually these organized tours frequently cover round-trip transport, so getting around Capri and a local guide. You’re typically whisked across the Bay of Naples by ferry or hydrofoil, meaning this already gives you the fantastic view. Usually these itineraries just have a visit to Capri’s main town, Anacapri, plus maybe free time to explore, so perhaps shop, or catch those stunning views from Monte Solaro. It’s not strange that these tours try to squeeze in a Blue Grotto visit, but it just really is time-dependent and depends on how long the queues are. Just in all, it just very might be your ticket to getting Capri checked off your bucket list if you’re pushed for time. I feel that often is something, isn’t it?
I seem to recall talking with this couple from the States on just one of these day trips, so too it’s almost a funny memory now. It looks like they only had one day free, they didn’t realize how much there was to see, in a way? After that they were stressing that they wouldn’t get a good taste of Capri, very. Turns out the tour was actually pretty awesome, isn’t it something? This experienced guide really gave us that background on the island, and that made walking around that much more amazing. We grabbed an amazing lemon granita in Anacapri, still very refreshing, then we wandered the Gardens of Augustus, I can’t argue with that. In short, it really might be an easier choice and totally gets you there, is that something?

This home of the Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe, just offers not only stunning gardens but views, actually. These walking tours provide historical insights and local stories that you just won’t get from a guidebook, basically.
A little while back I did this walk around Capri, you know? And instead of being shuffled around in that large group, that’s something that has ruined tours before. Our smaller group was a bit nice and actually allowed our local guide to make adjustments to just where we were. As a matter of fact, she pointed out all these small things I probably wouldn’t have spotted myself – that tucked-away artisan workshop creating sandals to order and these small, cool details on some buildings. So, the most unforgettable part was just when we ended up going a bit off-script and we ended up in this gorgeous viewpoint overlooking the Marina Piccola, actually? These walking tours just seriously make it possible to connect with that real essence of Capri, is that what it seems to be about?

Okay, if it just gives you that wish to reach that absolute top point on Capri, without that hike up, then what is this chairlift up Monte Solaro. Situated in Anacapri, just is that ride itself often becomes a thrilling experience, you see. So, this single-seater chairlift, may be not really suitable for those with that major fear of heights, so that eight-minute ascent rewards you with crazy scenic panoramas of the entire island, right to the Bay of Naples. Very from the peak, that is that panoramic restaurant where you can eat at. Then the island view stretching out under you that is often absolutely worth every second of it. But you should know that there are some great hiking routes at the top too, it seems.
My friend, actually you are like your totally fearless traveler, I guess, right? Last summer very told me all about the chairlift up Monte Solaro, really. Turns out they had gotten up early to avoid any lines, and while on the way to the top they mentioned you should make sure to just sort of savor that peaceful, really relaxing glide as the whole island spread under you, as a matter of fact? I think, that having made it to the top, very they wandered around the peak and just took something like a million pictures. It’s really like having the world under you, in that way? In their minds the thing they kept repeating and still now say is a very that clear, sunshiny day this sight just straight-up blew my mind, honestly, basically.

To be honest with you, she just said cruising around Capri just made me feel like A-list celebrity. Also with Champagne flutes in hand as just your sun dipped, almost paints the sky in insane colors – that moment was straight out of film, okay.
