1. Exploring the Cuyahoga Valley National Park

2. Kayaking or Paddleboarding on Lake Erie
Lake Erie, sometimes seen as just a body of water near Cleveland, turns out, it is the best for watersports, that draws locals and tourists alike. What could be more cool than gliding over the waves, having, in some respects, an unusual perspective of the city skyline? There are a ton of places that rent out kayaks and paddleboards. Launch from spots just similar to Edgewater Beach or the Cuyahoga River, that will set you off for a super unique workout on the water.
Paddling allows you to just explore the shoreline, take a closer look at the local wildlife, or simply have some quiet time, that is surrounded by water. For people just getting into watersports, the calm mornings basically, offer the most serene conditions. Adventurous people will possibly even take a guided tour. Or you can go farther afield. Those sunset paddles, in a way, offer a sight that, at the end of the day, you’ll not forget: The sky, it is painted with all shades of orange and pink, reflecting off the lake. 3. Biking the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail
If you prefer to keep your feet, or should I say tires, on solid ground, then that Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail might just be your kind of heaven. Basically following the historical route of the canal, this trail, at the end of the day, provides a flat and beautifully maintained path excellent for cyclists of just any skill level. The whole trail extends way beyond Cleveland, too it provides an unbelievable section right through the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Biking along this trail that gives a unique chance to sight-see at your own pace, stopping to, in a way, explore charming towns, look closely at wildlife, or just take a break by the canal. You, or someone who enjoys history will be able to spot that, for example, locks and structures from the canal’s operating days, giving a view into Ohio’s transportation past. Be sure that, at the end of the day, you pack a picnic and plenty of water to, for example, enjoy a full day out on the Towpath Trail. It’s almost an experience combining nature, history, and some good exercise.

4. Relaxing at Edgewater Park
For those that love a more chill outdoor experience, well, check out Edgewater Park, and get a little fresh air. Set on the shore of Lake Erie, this park comes with awesome views of the Cleveland skyline. I mean you will see the skyline! It’s truly one of those places where, as a matter of fact, you will go and have a relaxing walk along the beach, take a tan or check out the beautiful sunset. If that’s not one way to enjoy life I don’t know what is.
Edgewater Park does provide more than that too, too it gives areas for picnics, volleyball courts, and also a dog park, that is what makes this place cool. People often gather there for, in a way, community events, festivals, and outdoor concerts. Basically meaning, something’s always going on. Grab an ice cream, have a little relax on a bench, and just savor the soothing atmosphere. You know, it really is an ideal location to recharge and just savor those easy pleasures of lakeside living.

5. Exploring the Cleveland Botanical Garden
Escape the ordinary and come check out Cleveland Botanical Garden, that can offer something magical as opposed to most places! The 10-acre location holds, just like your, lots of collections that can cause any person to slow down and gaze. From the interesting Japanese Garden to the vibrant Hershey Children’s Garden, everyone who goes here should get some level of enjoyment.
Take a leisurely walk across the attractive trails, admiring that, actually, carefully cared-for flowers and trees. That peaceful place will, seemingly, take away the stressful everyday routines. Often, people have noticed the Garden hosting events, like plant shows and workshops. I mean what an opportunity!
