Cork, is that beautiful spot on the southwest coast of Ireland, too it’s almost like a treasure chest overflowing with history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking natural landscapes, a place that’s pretty special if you ask me. You will see that getting to really experience all that Cork has on offer, a tour is very, very often the best bet, that said. So, the following is a rundown on five adventure tours in Cork that you just might find completely amazing.

1. Wild Atlantic Sea Kayaking

Wild Atlantic Sea Kayaking Cork

Wild Atlantic Sea Kayaking, they offer various kayak tours along the coastline of Cork, actually giving you a perspective of the place from a completely new angle. The tours here frequently take place in areas like Kinsale and Glandore, too it’s almost like little hidden paradises known for their calm waters and amazing scenery. You get the opportunity to see those hidden coves, sea caves, plus that marine life is, like, something else, very, very often on a tour like this.

I was chatting to this woman from the States a while back, so she’d actually done one of these kayaking tours, and honestly, her face just lit up as she was describing it. “Seriously,” she said, “paddling through those caves and seeing the seals was more or less like stepping into another universe.” She couldn’t stop going on about how friendly and clued-up the guides were, is that they seemed really keen on making sure everybody had not only a fun but also a really safe trip. Basically, I was pretty much sold right then and there, anyway.

Ballyhass Adventure Group has activity centers spread all around Cork, actually, though you might hear people mostly raving about the Mallow location. With a full water park, zip lines and even wakeboarding, these guys seem like they offer practically anything you could ask for if you’re an outdoorsy person.

A good friend of mine had his stag there a few years ago, so his stories had me absolutely howling with laughter, he had so much fun. He was especially talking about how the water park had people in stitches as they kept wiping out one after the other. They made a day out of it. Yet, from what I gathered, everyone in the group, even those that might be more on the careful side, found something really fun to do. I’m sure he was slightly hungover. Very, very often, Ballyhass is very nearly the kind of location you keep in your back pocket for family days out, school trips, plus it seems perfectly set up for when people want a bit of adrenaline mixed in with stunning landscapes and natural Irish countryside.

He wouldn’t stop talking about the views and the little villages they stumbled across, as they just took on their surroundings at their own speed, instead of blazing past. He also mentioned a local guide he met along the route who gave him the inside scoop on the hidden gems and local hotspots you simply never find when traveling around in a car, still, which, apparently, ended up as the highlight of his journey, very.

This family I know made their way down to Castle Freke last Easter, they all absolutely enjoyed themselves by all accounts. What actually stood out to me, regardless, was the fact that they felt very safe the entire time.
