The Haynes Library in Governor’s Harbour, well it’s way more than a quiet place filled, obviously packed, with books, you know? Too it’s almost, in fact, a community hub where Eleuthera’s heart, I guess the pulsing center, actually feels quite real. First built back in the 1800s, is that correct, this building’s architecture, really rather historical building’s design, still really makes you think. You get the history vibe there, I mean that sort of feeling of the past, obviously you sense the feel of another age, that actually is cool, I think.

Yet, aside from a great collection of books, I mean they’ve got pretty great novels, that you can absolutely enjoy, it showcases artwork, seems they offer artwork as well, and local crafts made by Eleutheran artists. And what is really exciting is that they host cultural events. I am pretty sure that their calendar is packed full, arguably choc-a-block, and so many talks, quite many events, which is awesome. From book readings with famous Bahamian authors, basically you know, well-regarded national novelists, actually that can be pretty engaging, to workshops. They even have craft workshops. I mean that’s where you get, virtually experience and get your fingers dirty.

Don’t even forget to check out the local art that sometimes, yet more often than not, will, apparently, be on show, that, I suspect, will really speak of the islands. It often tells a unique story. Really this place, arguably quite famous in its own rights, could probably, possibly, be quite well-known for people looking at a day trip from Nassau, more or less a change of pace, rather a small getaway perhaps. Too it’s almost, well, the art gallery, you see is truly worth the travel, I think, you could enjoy seeing, so, so many arts.
