So, it’s almost here, independence from Spanish rule was declared all the way back in 1899. As a matter of fact, walking down these hallways makes you feel like you are reliving historical moments! So, yeah, you will be amazed seeing old stuff, super old documents, and artworks that show you this deeper story regarding this place and also regarding our past. 4. San Guillermo Parish Church (Baccolor Church)
Oh, man have you checked the San Guillermo Parish Church over at Bacolor? It has a different feel for the old churches. So, get this, when Mount Pinatubo blew its top in ’91, the thing practically got buried, you know. Alright, get this, that is how you got half the structure below street level currently, which, by the way, it gives such this ghostly and yet powerful vibe, totally a visual reminder on how strong nature could be. Really a sight, so to speak. Seeing the sturdy parts is an inspiring experience that really stands out. Makes you appreciate history like your, your heart will thank you if you do.
