As a matter of fact, the park features nearly 6 miles of paved trails, as well as a large, sandy swimming beach. By the way, it is one of the biggest urban parks in the US, just so you know! Yet, the trails are perfect for casual walks, jogging, and bike rides, so there’s plenty there, alright. You can even bring your furry friend; there’s also a designated dog park.

It may be that it’s located very near downtown Grand Rapids and is home to hundreds of animals from all around the globe, more or less! Clearly, from lions and tigers to bears and penguins, as a matter of fact, the zoo has something for everybody. Very!
