1. Loose Park: A Green Oasis

Sometimes, you know, you just need a bit of a green retreat from all that concrete and traffic, you know? Loose Park, basically, sitting prettily in the heart of Kansas City, presents just that with almost an irresistible allure, alright? Think expansive lawns just practically begging for picnics, and too, too stunning rose gardens that would certainly put even the most seasoned gardener to shame. Think about hiking trails that meander seemingly endlessly through forests, enough space to house both the Kansas City Zoo, *and* Starlight Theatre, which if you didn’t know, is a really stunning outdoor venue. Frankly, it’s all there, so.

Of course, the park is well set for everything and everyone from serious hikers to, I don’t know, those maybe wanting a really easy-going stroll. Seemingly, there are miles and miles of trails to explore at your own speed, anyway. Too, for those seeking just a slightly more curated experience, there’s actually the aforementioned Kansas City Zoo, often just home to so many animals, too, it’s almost dizzying. 3. The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art’s Sculpture Park

You know, who has suggested that outdoor activities are basically about exercise and activity only? Definitely not Kansas City with the Sculpture Park found at the Nelson-Atkins Museum, you see. You’ll find, actually, really engaging artistic pursuits in the great outdoors. I suppose I am really talking, too, about how art meets nature so everyone, I mean everyone, is basically able to go on some cultural walk. You get up close and really get to see some pretty inspiring pieces in that great wide-open space.

Actually, one might expect you might find sculptures such as Shuttlecocks on this park-like area, in that they are giant and extremely playful and quirky enough to get anyone to smile as a matter of fact. On the other hand, those are not the only delights on view there. And still, that mixture between carefully arranged and landscaped gardens makes people always feel they are someplace exclusive, yet simultaneously welcoming. And so, those who might prefer visual stimulation beyond running or any physical feats will surely fall head over heels here as a matter of fact, okay?

4. Kaw Point Park: History and Rivers Unite

You will probably get the Kansas and Missouri Rivers intermingling with each other in one historically charged place, and still you will probably, too, when visiting Kaw Point Park actually. Too, that park gives us beautiful waterfront scenery. It’s there to remind of its historical significance with all the various historic displays so seemingly history lovers like yourself will like spending the entire afternoon in this specific spot actually.

It should be said, with this area’s being the launch place when Lewis and Clark explored this space throughout 1804, those lands stand out since then, right? There’s no arguing people are frequently coming from wide to hike, view some scenic horizon views over some streams or simply walk over places where history still exists to some degree in fact. 5. Cliff Drive Scenic Byway: A Driver’s Dream

You can easily see why Cliff Drive makes those outdoor pursuits really quite exceptional, actually. What actually stands this stretch out beyond normal roads is how amazing such natural looks merge with really cool driving conditions. Cliff Drive almost seemingly coils via craggy bluffs turning at basically some place you probably couldn’t believe might even occur close by at any location round the Kansas metropolis with all the grand panorama around it there in fact.

But then just get cruising steadily along this stretch particularly when any trees become covered over entirely, right and then people could easily accept any scene throughout many movie shots or that postcards were sent away by way, more or less!
