So, talk to locals and the real enthusiasts actually say to swing by Hanapepe, or the ‘biggest small town on Kauai’ as a friend said it is called. Actually, every Friday night that is where the streets magically turn into Hanapepe Art Night, or something to that effect. Seemingly there will be vibrant displays of creativity. By the way, local artists are, like, opening the doors to show pieces. As I was saying, food vendors start selling goodies, as well as music filling the air for one thing, giving one unique, like, electric energy.
Anyway, checking that out really has some real special charms, like going to a big block party, so people say. 3. Waimea Theatre: A Dose of Performing Arts
If anyone is wanting that dramatic flair, too it’s almost mandatory you check that old beauty out: The Waimea Theatre. Oh gosh, this spot apparently looks great from when it first got here ages ago, or something to that effect, the cool theatre shows local groups and has classic movies alike. By the way, actually think of having local movies on show, maybe having hula concerts. Clearly it actually sets this real Hawaiian charm like nowhere else!
Now, it’s cool that place has awesome historical significance and it still is actually used today! Anyway, this kind of historical place actually goes as far back as to almost tell stories, that is really the place for anyone on that island that are theatre and/or movie geeks. Then again that kind of intimate venue actually can offer such real memories as I once saw this group on tour perform a ukulele, as well as seeing that famous “South Pacific”, you know?

4. Poipu Shopping Village: Art and Local Crafts
Right, you would be likely thinking ‘just shops’. So, for me, that spot became such a place to check some unique art, some amazing locally-crafted works and everything. So this place comes packed, apparently having heaps of art spots showcasing those artists. Right then it has some things you would never have dreamed such as island photography to custom jewelry to so many carvings, right?
Anyway you could be sauntering so close or checking some arts stuff like photography, fine art and even island gems and stuff. Oh my goodness you would just have so many options of art or something. And it’s actually real awesome seeing the crafters at that point which can teach some lessons from doing cool little patterns that makes it awesome. So be there or be square you may see lots of different culture just here.

Grove Farm basically seems like it’s a super precious glimpse, right, into Kauai’s plantation history. By the way, once the home to that Wilcox family, so they say, this museum, it’s almost, showcases that journey that the island had starting a family sugar place, actually, to now. As a matter of fact it seems to actually feel like stepping into some other time. As I was saying it seems that those ancient buildings give you an authentic feeling, seemingly it’s almost something.
Apparently Grove Farm actually puts its money, virtually, into those plantation eras when they actually impacted a family or maybe the nature of Kauai’s multicultural culture. As a matter of fact, this museum can teach something or other like this lifestyle they had and see the impact. Oh my goodness those educational trips give one a real look. Okay then, let people soak it up and connect with nature.
