Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is, that’s almost certain, a jewel in Kenya’s crown, famed for its breath catching flamingo population and diverse wildlife. So, planning a trip there? We’re going to have a gander at five excellent travel and transportation services. The intention, very obviously, is to assist you in making some great choices for your visit. This will help, I believe, in making your Lake Nakuru adventure all it can possibly be. I think so, anyway.

1. Private Safari Tour Operators

Private Safari Tour

Want a trip that feels, kind of, like it was totally designed just for you? These operators, often family run, allow for custom plans. So, you can follow exactly what you want to follow and when. It allows for a really deeply individual experience. A private safari can offer something you don’t usually see. Some advantages are flexibility. You get a totally individual schedule and focused attention from your guide. On the other hand, it tends to be, typically, pricier than joining a group. Think about what’s more crucial for you and then act accordingly.

Group Safari Tour

You’re looking to, maybe, save a bit of cash and meet folks? A group tour might be just your cup of tea. Typically, these tours follow a set schedule and visit the popular viewing spots. They’re excellent, really, for those that like a social vibe and maybe not emptying their bank account. Group sizes differ a bit, usually from six to twenty people. This might be key for you. You’ll have a skilled guide, of course, and the cost savings can be big, yet, the schedule is normally less flexible. So, if you wish a bit more free control over the timing, consider carefully if that trade off is going to be worthwhile. It’s, obviously, a choice about balancing price with total control.

3. Self-Drive Options

Self-Drive Safari Nakuru

You like driving? And independence? You could look into a self drive trip in Lake Nakuru. Getting your own 4×4 provides fantastic flexibility to move at your own speed. And to explore less crowded regions. In contrast to group excursions, this is all you and only you. The freedom is fantastic, it tends to be quite liberating. On the other hand, very significant preparation is key. That, too, it’s vital that you are experienced in tough terrain driving. Keep in mind park regulations, too. So, keep that information very much in your awareness as a driver.

Flying Safari

Trying to squeeze in the sights and save a bit of travel time? Perhaps a flying safari can do it. I think flying directly to Nakuru’s close by airstrip may increase your time experiencing the park while lowering long hours on bad roads. Flying safaris really do provide some awesome views and minimise any travel headaches. Nevertheless, bear in mind, anyway, that it might just cost a bit more. It is, probably, something for those that are trying to get the most time out of every second, and willing to pay some bit extra for the convenience. Just a touch more cash for significantly enhanced convenience.

5. Shuttle Services

Shuttle Service Kenya

For getting to and from Nakuru from locations like Nairobi, a shuttle service, usually, provides a solid and cost-effective option. Usually, these depart at times set beforehand. That means you could have, might be, to fit in with that. It tends to be more convenient than trying to make public transport work or going solo. Additionally, you’ll, typically, discover they drop you off right at your accommodation. The main advantage, for me at least, anyway, is convenience, however flexibility could, I think, be somewhat limited compared to a private transfer.
