1. Hiking the Picos de Europa
Okay, now, so arguably the top spot on our adventure list needs to be a trek in the Picos de Europa. These mountains, which are in some respects unlike any other I have hiked, offer some stunning views plus trails for, like your average easy strollers and seriously experienced mountain climbers, actually. Even if you might only be around for the quick little jaunt, take the trail up to places, such as the lakes of Covadonga. This path that tends to be pretty easy even will let you drink up some absolutely stunning landscape without a big exhausting climb. 2. Canyoning in Valdeón Valley
Now for a completely unique way to spend your time in Leon’s big out-of-doors scene? As a matter of fact it’s the one activity here on this list that gets my heart racing the most. I mean, right, and also too it’s almost the canyoning in Valdeón Valley. Okay, alright you’ll have to strap yourself into a harness, anyway, then rappel down a series of waterfalls that will get your body very energized, or you can simply try taking a few crazy swimming plunges into the cool crystal clear water underneath. Usually this little journey combines a few aspects of climbing, a little something something of swimming, and of course you have got to do a bunch of hiking too. 3. Kayaking or Canoeing on the Reservoirs
Okay, what a relaxing and beautiful day of floating across the clear and calming reservoir water, I just can’t pass on talking about this particular gem of an adventure. Right, well so Arguendo, Arguendo that sounds fantastic to you, then you should visit a Leon adventure must is almost always going to mean a date with a kayak, as a matter of fact. As a matter of fact Embalse de Barrios de Luna is usually just very awesome for kayaking or canoeing, honestly. That, really that gorgeous place does provide some tranquil water, a few mind-blowing vistas plus multiple hidden shoreline spots only for stopping for little picnics with your partner or your group, seriously. 4. Mountain Biking in Bierzo
Now in case that, so some good solid adventures are what floats your boat and you like speeding by really pretty green forest vistas while feeling that Earth spinning, anyway, as I was saying mountain biking at El Bierzo will be one heck of an experience for you. That district in some respects offers bikers routes from simple forest floor rides up to expert rock riding style situations. Well that place of stunning natural spaces mixes well with super old vineyards along the trails too. Of course, so anyway Ponferrada, that tends to be nearby and can also rent gear for bike riding and help anyone find those cool maps, so I might go that route and see what turns up, as a matter of fact. 5. Birdwatching in Babia y Luna Natural Park
Okay, so in stark contrast, I tell ya bird watching here usually delivers us like that cool slowing effect after our intense workouts. Okay, like seriously think nature watching around the Babia y Luna Natural Park if all them birds will, very just almost create an aaaaaah feeling inside of you because of a quiet walk in an undisturbed beautiful place, or really if just seeing a rare cool thing usually delivers that great dopamine rush, as a matter of fact. Babia-Luna, alright this big space which also shows off multiple very varying landscapes right across northern Spain and usually boasts that really special claim for, like your twitchers to find golden eagles plus those super very very special Iberian wolves! Those outdoor things around Leon bring experiences with unique sensations to anyone who will try, I guess. Be that kayaking on awesome ponds, those very hard rock climbs and the pretty parks, everyone will come across ways they love being here and can fully explore Leon with this stuff on that outside vibe.
