Because, as a matter of fact, it means less guesswork and way more “mmm, that’s amazing!”

1. Restaurante Paraíso: Where Seafood Dreams Come True

So, Restaurante Paraíso – the name sort of means “Paradise Restaurant,” right? Like, sets the bar pretty high. Well, it nearly lives up to it! Because, in a way, situated right by the sea, you’ve actually got killer views. Especially, as a matter of fact, during sunset. Anyway, can you believe they are almost always packed? Yet, still you feel that there’s almost, an intimate feel. You know, you might want to show up before the dinner crowd hits. Anyway, I’ve learned that from my experience; and, frankly, a reservation might be the smartest move you ever made. So, if you really, really wanna taste paradise, think about asking for the grilled limpets (“lapas”). These little guys are delicious when soaked in garlic butter. Seriously, like, order those first. So, don’t even look at the menu first. Trust me on this one. Obviously, also make sure that you get the fish of the day too. Anyway, it’s just crazy fresh, often caught that very morning, you know? As I was saying, try it. Like, simply grilled, so you are able to appreciate the taste of the fish. Obviously, simplicity really shines. Very few things are better than the sound of the waves in combination with local wine and super fresh food.

2. Sunset View Bar: Chasing the Sun with Cocktails

So, are you in need of some drinks? Yet, in a location that totally screams “vacation”? Well, The Sunset View Bar is quite perfect, I think. Honestly, like, with its cool vibes, in that case you get plenty of, maybe, expertly made cocktails and snacks that actually hit the spot, this spot just begs for an evening visit. It tends to be, located, that is, so it seems, just up from the main beach. Also, anyway, it lets you just soak in these fantastic views of the Atlantic. Alright, so the drinks here are quite exciting. You can find, for instance, the local stuff ( poncha, I see you) as well as you get, actually, some familiar classic cocktails. Alright, they surely know what they are doing, I would say. Really, really great service as well. So, it turns out the waiters know their stuff. Obviously, the sunset views are the selling point here, you know. It could be something very cool, in a way, to arrive around golden hour, okay? So, for instance, you get a few drinks to enjoy whilst witnessing some killer colors. In that case, Sunset View Bar tends to be more of a bar than eats type of place, alright. But then again, there are a few small things to eat available there, so it’s almost perfect. Very useful in the event of cravings of olives, lupini beans or peanuts after some alcohol! Perfect for friends, okay? Or your lover as you both can relish in this perfect setting with drinks.

3. The Banana Tree Restaurant: Fresh Flavors Under the Sun

So, The Banana Tree Restaurant, huh? Yeah, a quite awesome nod to the areas main industry. A little less views from this area. However, like, you do get views to a banana plantation and surrounding area instead. Basically, for a change, you should get yourself involved in a more traditional restaurant offering which has awesome staples of Portuguese eats, anyway! Obviously, it’s like this laid back joint, and it does good, tasty food. As I was saying, if you want to chow down, get in there. Really, really, just the most yum food available, it could be said! I would say, order “Espetada”. This, anyway, is something great and local. Because, in other words, grilled meat on a stick – is that it? Totally, seriously! So, I mean it! That is really really it! Yet, very flavorful and cooked to your preferences. As a matter of fact, they make it as you like it! Of course! A perfect choice tends to be beef, usually! Also, anyway, if you fancy trying seafood out then get yourself to taste the Tuna steak! Really, they prepare this awesomely well and its such a great slab of tastiness. Seriously, The Banana Tree Restaurant, generally, is just a real, genuine, hearty Madeiran food spot. That said, nothing super pretentious, actually, but just really well executed flavors.

4. Mermaid Coffeehouse: The Sweetest Escape

Alright, you need a fix from somewhere to satiate cravings for sugar, yeah? Are you the biggest cookie monster there is? Well, like your local Mermaid Coffeehouse can totally give it to you, seriously. Oh yes! Basically, it is where any person with an enjoyment in sweet goodness becomes their home from home and you, like, settle straight in with, really, good locally home made food and a warm greetings from the awesome service there. Seriously, with tons of fresh foods on sale every day, anyway, what’s not to get hyped up by? Oh man! In some respects, It will provide such amazing moments you have not seen before, okay! Are you super wanting to be the talk of your friend circle or you friends with something incredible? Surely, let those sweet sensations speak for itself here, in fact, by grabbing all types of eats to eat in our take away! By the way, if you have the awesome time in this fantastic location, remember all who created these brilliant items in the home made kitchen for all to see them. As a matter of fact, such awesomeness it could be! Enjoy the coffee, in that case you require more stimulation, or grab the foods by take out when you wish, totally! A super duper pick up snack.

5. Maré Alta: A Hidden Gem for Local Flavors

Are you the guy wanting to locate somewhere which offers something a little different and super locally flavored that is super easy going and feels somewhat great, surely? Okay, so the vibe of there, is awesome! Anyway, like your local Maré Alta is definitely for your choices. They seem very good and are also the most helpful people. You know, located slightly just out from the central district this will be what you need! The location is fantastic for anybody traveling nearby on the roads of the north as you can, in fact, get amazing quality snacks whilst en route anywhere around Madeira. Also, so, I’d highly recommend this, okay? Do not be shy for the awesome offerings here! Really awesome!
