When wandering through, it can be that you bump into sellers pushing everything under the sun. When I say that, I mean just piles of exotic fruits and some handmade crafts to what you would call local street eats. I do think it’s wise to try. More or less, that is. Typically, tons of tours kick off right from Mahebourg, leading to perfect spots across the park. Snorkelers are really almost guaranteed views. Really. If it’s clear, they will get almost completely close and super personal peeks at colorful fish darting and corals popping everywhere. A handful of outings even add boat rides that have some glass bottoms, almost as if, when you chill up above, you still get non-stop peeks down below.
