Maragogi, you see, it’s almost like this little slice of paradise tucked away in Alagoas, Brazil, isn’t it? What makes it so special, very, is the string of unbelievable beaches and natural pools – seriously! Planning a trip there could be a bit overwhelming, too it’s almost, what with all the cool stuff there is. So, let’s have a peep at some awesome tickets and passes, that are very popular, which I reckon, arguably, give you pretty exceptional experiences there.

1. Galés Natural Pools Catamaran Tour

The Galés, is that, it’s kind of the poster child for Maragogi, you might say? These natural pools are so brimming with marine life, you see, what that basically means is some superb snorkeling opportunities, almost? This tour usually involves a catamaran ride out to the pools – very pleasant, I hear. And what you could do, I mean you could actually laze in the clear, shallow water, peering at fish that are bright and very inquisitive! Often, it does involve maybe an hour or two snorkeling. Most people say, very enthusiastically I might add, this trip to Galés you see, is the biggie!

Now the best bits? What some tell me anyway, is bobbing about in those pools that are so inviting, with a drink you know, in your hand. Some of these tours do come, rather kindly, you might agree, with an open bar. Yet keep an eye out though, as it’s usually a fairly jam-packed day out.

2. Caminho de Moisés (Moses Path) Walking Tour

Now if you are after, you might say, an experience on land that is different? So the Caminho de Moisés – or Moses Path – offers something just a little distinct! See, when the tide is rather low, you will see a sandbar appears. A sandbar that allows you, possibly, to kind of stroll into the sea, for what amounts to a good few meters, really! Many people say it feels kind of a bit, you see, like parting the waters – like Moses, I guess?

It’s very ideal, is that, for taking pictures that look impressive! Be warned anyway, the tours there will only occur when the conditions permit. Because, naturally you understand, low tide is totally essential! As a matter of fact, what it may involve is a touch of waiting, which in the sun is not fun. Don’t be too bothered to take your beach umbrella too, as well as sunscreen of course.

3. Buggy Tour Along the Coastline

Now this buggy tour along that beautiful coastline is just really, extremely marvelous, I am informed? In the process it visits all those famous beaches that surround the town, arguably, that many love – you might love them too! You have yourself, probably, Barra Grande, Peroba, and Antunes? Actually, some of the journeys do go a tiny bit off-road too, is that, giving it this slightly adventurous feel? The journey can sometimes be really extremely dusty too.

Normally, I’ve been told, anyway you can expect this to be like a full day gig. Often with breaks for swimming, clearly! Taking photos, yes of course! Oh yes and enjoying some local food. It’s a good option anyway, to find spots you might like, and you may want to re-visit a little later, arguably?

4. Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Experience in Maragogi River

Right so for people into something perhaps peaceful but with, very, very little exercise in the sun? Stand-up paddleboarding –SUP if you are very hip – up the Maragogi River is good option really! This location does give something just slightly unique, definitely!

Paddling, often, will take you through what feels to many people, as this gorgeous mangrove. Sometimes people report that, what’s it called? –Oh yes –wildlife watching, it’s absolutely really fantastic!. You can enjoy, that, without the sometimes rougher sea conditions on the beach. That might, anyway, totally just float your boat – sorry! It offers people the experience to just be very active without actually killing you.

5. Scuba Diving at the Coral Reefs

Well if you just so happen to be into, or if you wanted, anyway, perhaps some underwater exploring? As a matter of fact some scuba experiences here, at the local coral reefs I hear, are just absolutely outstanding! A local operation, is that, will usually give you – that’s you, very helpful equipment along with – you know what I mean — guidance? As a matter of fact the coral you see there is incredibly colorful, not to mention – honestly! – all the sea creatures you are likely to just look at. Yet, is that, do check that it is really up to the standards which, what were they again, ah yes PADI that’s it!
