Marbella Day Trips: See the Best of Southern Spain

Marbella Day Trips: See the Best of Southern Spain

Marbella

Marbella, with its glam atmosphere, rather nice beaches, and a certain vibe, is more or less a pretty brilliant base for some Southern Spain explorations. Yet, staying put is that okay? In that case, you’d really miss out on so much the area has to offer. With that said, if you want scenic drives, totally charming towns, and maybe just a little cultural richness, a day trip is that perfect kind of thing. So, load up the car, very, very ready those cameras, and let’s get going, to places that’ll stick with you way after you’ve unpacked.

Ronda: The City Cut in Two

Ronda Spain

Ronda, seemingly perched on a massive set of cliffs, happens to be maybe just a little breathtaking. Basically, the Puente Nuevo, probably the town’s most well known piece, arches high above El Tajo gorge, connecting old and new parts of Ronda. You can spend a few hours roaming the streets, visiting Plaza de Toros, arguably one of Spain’s oldest bullrings, and taking it all in. Yet, remember to explore the Mondragon Palace too; its gardens offer totally spectacular views and a touch of history.

Also, eating out there, could be almost something. A little tapas at a cafe overlooking the gorge? Seems to be that’s a perfect sort of lunch. Oh and apparently getting there it’s a scenic drive too. Switchbacks will occur. However the views of the Andalusian landscape they’ll keep your mind occupied that they will.

Malaga: Picasso’s Hometown

Malaga Spain

Malaga is very much more than just its airport. Is that your perception of it too? You know Malaga, where people just connect through. So, Picasso’s hometown has very many things happening; a revitalized port area, old fortresses and rather fascinating museums are on offer there. You know, the Alcazaba happens to be a Moorish fortress that dates way, way back, providing not bad views and a great taste of history. And well, what about a wander near the harbor area? Anyway, it has been developed, it offers food, it offers shopping. It’s totally different right now.

Oh and that Malaga Cathedral, actually that happens to be impressive, it gives off very old feels. Arguably it tells a bit of history. Then there’s that Museo Picasso Malaga, so if art it’s you. I want to introduce that gallery too it’s awesome. The city is really beautiful that, so just take your time out there in that location that’s the trick.

Granada: The Alhambra Awaits

Alhambra Granada Spain

Okay, Granada is a bit further away. In that case prepare to put the miles. Seems to be worth it for that Alhambra that, this would definitely be worth the drive for you. Alhambra happens to be something you must glimpse at any rate if you get a chance at all; it’s something the Alhambra has really established its claim with; the architecture it’s intricate, and has totally delightful gardens, and history is layered deep. I will make some warnings that. You really do need to book Alhambra tickets way ahead; this way this thing gets reserved ahead of time that. Seriously.

Just the Albaicin it can provide an adventure right? Wandering with the winding, is that right? Yes that is totally right! Streets give very fascinating glimpses for the place and it totally has charm. In the way the tavernas too offer up free tapas and is kind of one purchase. Actually that is something to consider!

Casares: A White Village Wonder

Casares Spain

For something much quieter and that still carries views and history I want to point towards Casares. So, that ‘white village’ does very well sit atop its hill. It offers scenic lookouts galore and very genuine Spanish life feels that you just won’t gain in busy spots. This kind of place calls to you like it wants you getting yourself happily lost here and in no great worry too as that has character!

A castle there actually still displays Moorish past roots, and I might even add it displays totally amazing, it seems I might like them! Vistas that might actually show the water that it’s truly a beautiful sight. Lunch in one restaurant where this takes place, probably the perfect spot where all takes place. Is this just ideal or ideal right? Also, that kind of the place that may bring the photo feels out it sounds amazing.

Tangier, Morocco: A Taste of Another Continent

Tangier Morocco

Fancy something that’s arguably just entirely different? How would Morocco happen to tickle a need? So, from Marbella, a pretty speedy ferry trip over to Tangier just awaits you. However with that short water trip it can introduce people entirely different cultures. It almost has got to be mind blowing really that these trips offer these sort of things and aspects in the short distance.

I just should give you an immediate heads up; there it displays sights. Also here at this place you may encounter tastes, experiences; something very unlike the Marbella-s the Morocco location, and also places in Spain too for some people it has a jolt to the mind.

Get a tour happening that navigates markets happening or maybe also you will check the Kasbah; This thing definitely provides rich immersion that can definitely lead an amazing encounter or sight.
