Whether you’re just sort of trying to take a pleasant stroll or want more of a challenging hike, this place might just be perfect. Trails wind through sort of dense forests and then, too, open meadows, so it’s really hard to get bored.
I remember this one time I was there, very, very early in the morning, so, the mist hadn’t lifted yet, so the whole place felt very mysterious. Then, you start climbing higher, like your breathing gets heavier, right? When you make it to the top though, the view is totally unreal; like, it’s this sweeping scene of the whole surrounding area. Bring a camera, seriously, you’re probably going to want to document this. The trails, so, are well-marked, usually, yet packing a map and compass might not be a bad call either. This is particularly helpful if you’re not too familiar with the region, okay?

And honestly, it might make the wine taste all the better when you’re there in the spot where it’s made. This can also be pretty laid back and informative if you go with friends! You can unwind and make jokes about the new flavors that you have uncovered together.
Each winery tends to be super proud of their techniques, usually. Each has different stories and has worked to make unique vintages, actually, too. That alone might make it worth going to more than one winery! Plus, buying straight from the source might just give you a unique souvenir and, or, gift.
