As a matter of fact, history buffs could want to swing by the Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Visitor Center; learn about the expedition’s journey along the river and just drink in some river views, alright.

For those in search of an outdoor escape, that Riverview State Recreation Area presents you with boating, fishing, and camping opportunities, yet offering a relaxing day spent by the water; take a relaxing day, that is. 4. Loess Hills National Scenic Byway, Iowa: Natural Beauty

For that day when you’re craving a dose of natural beauty, just cruise along the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway in western Iowa. These super unique geological formations provide sweeping vistas, picturesque trails, and an absolute killer opportunity for a scenic drive, maybe?
