Basically, Omalo is tucked away high in the Tusheti region, a place so very untouched and brimming with views that can really take your breath away. But honestly, it’s not just about sights; it also has eats. You, like your stomach, probably want to know where you’ll find the tastiest grub and drinks after all your hiking and sightseeing. That’s what this is for!

1. Old Omalo Guesthouse Restaurant: Authentic Flavors

Alright, Old Omalo Guesthouse Restaurant is where it all kicks off, right? And in some respects, it’s probably the first place most visitors bump into. Now, it is sitting pretty, as a matter of fact, practically in the core of Upper Omalo. The ambiance here is, in a way, all about authentic vibes and friendly faces. And, so the food. Oh man, they basically nail traditional Georgian dishes. 2. Hotel Tusheti Restaurant: Views & Modern Dishes

And right next up we have the restaurant at Hotel Tusheti! Usually it offers you up that very modern twist on Georgian yumminess. Clearly this one has pretty amazing views. You, like everyone else, might want to see the Alazani Valley sprawled out beneath you. So the setting could almost amplify every single bite you take.

The menu, as a matter of fact, at Hotel Tusheti usually does this interesting combo, pretty traditional stuff next to something more international. Could be really creative with it. The presentation alone, that could just get you excited to tuck in. As a matter of fact they take pride in ingredients that you just know they got fresh locally. So, it could be a good place to wind down after getting done exploring some tougher terrains.
